ပုဂံဒေသတွင် ရွှေစည်းခုံစေတီတော်က နာမည်ကျော်နေရာတစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပြီး နှစ်စဉ် လာရောက်သူ အများအပြား ရှိကြောင်း ၎င်းက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
ယခုနှစ် ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁ ရက်မှ အောက်တိုဘာ ၂၀ ရက်အထိ ရွှေစည်းခုံစေတီတော်သို့ ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည် ၂.၂၂ သန်း လာရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး ယမန်နှစ် အလားတူကာလက လာရောက်ခဲ့သည့် ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည် ၁.၉ သန်းထက် သိသိသာသာ တိုးလာကြောင်း ၎င်းက ထည့်သွင်းပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
“ပုဂံကို လာလည်တဲ့ ခရီးသွားဦးရေက တစ်နှစ်ထက်တစ်နှစ် တိုးလာပါတယ်။ ဧည့်သည်တွေကို ဆွဲဆောင်ဖို့အတွက် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဆိုင်ရာ အသိပညာပေးမှုတွေနဲ့ ဟိုတယ်စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုသင်တန်းတွေ၊ ဧည့်လမ်းညွှန်သင်တန်းတွေ ပို့ချပေးနေတဲ့ အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲတွေ လုပ်နေပါတယ်” ဟု ၎င်းက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
“သင်တန်းတွေ ပေးခြင်းအားဖြင့် ဒေသတွင်း လူ့စွမ်းအားအရင်းအမြစ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ဖို့နဲ့ ရပ်ရွာလူထုအတွင်း အလုပ်အကိုင် အခွင့်အလမ်းတွေ ဖန်တီးပေးဖို့ ရည်ရွယ်ပါတယ်” ဟု ၎င်းက ဖြည့်စွက်ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
ပုဂံသည် ယူနက်စကို၏ ကမ္ဘာ့အမွေအနှစ်စာရင်းဝင်နေရာဖြစ်ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည် အများဆုံးလာရောက်ရာ နေရာများအနက် တစ်ခု ဖြစ်သည်။ မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီးတွင် တည်ရှိသော ရှေးဟောင်းမြို့တော် ပုဂံတွင် ဘုရားစေတီပေါင်း ၃,၀၀၀ ကျော်ရှိသည်။ (Xinhua)

Myanmar’s Shwezigon Pagoda in Bagan attract over 380,000 visitors during Thadingyut holidays
YANGON, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) — Myanmar’s Shwezigon Pagoda in Bagan welcomed over 380,000 visitors during the Thadingyutholidays from Oct. 16 to Oct. 20, Myo Min Aung, assistant director of the Bagan’s Directorate of Hotels and Tourism told Xinhua on Tuesday.
Shwezigon Pagoda is one of the most popular sites in the region, attracting numerous visitors each year, he said.
From Jan. 1 to Oct. 20 this year, Shwezigon Pagoda attracted 2.22 million travelers, a notable increase from the 1.9 million visitors recorded during the same period last year, he added.
“The number of tourists visiting Bagan is steadily increasing each year. To attract visitors, we are conducting workshops focused on cultural awareness and providing hotel management training, and guest guide courses,” he said.
“By providing courses, we aim to develop local human resources and create job opportunities within the community,” he added.
Bagan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the top tourist attractions in Myanmar. There are over 3,000 pagodas in Bagan, an ancient city situated in the Mandalay Region. ■
