အာဏာပိုင်များက ဒုတိယအကြိမ် ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံခြင်းကို မကြာမီ စတင်သွားရန် စီစဉ်ထားကြောင်း သမ္မတ Solih က မတ် ၁၀ ရက်၌ အွန်လိုင်းသတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ချက်တွင် ပြောကြားထားသည်။

Maldives president calls on residents to get first dose of vaccine

MALE, March 11 (Xinhua) — Maldives President Ibrahim Solih has called on residents to finish getting their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, local media reported here Thursday.
President Solih, in a virtual statement delivered on Wednesday, said that authorities are planning to begin administering the second dose of vaccinations soon.
Solih said that inoculating the entire population was the fastest way to move beyond the pandemic. He said that his government’s policy was to administer the vaccine free of charge to everyone including citizens, migrants, and undocumented individuals.
The President said that his government hoped to address shortcomings in the health sector through decentralization, including the building of five tertiary hospitals and upgrades to hospitals in Addu and Kulhudhuffushi.
The President thanked all healthcare workers and frontline workers for their collective dedication in fighting the pandemic. Enditem
