China win two more gold medals at Swimming World Cup

SHANGHAI, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) — The FINA Swimming World Cup in Shanghai concluded on Sunday, with China securing a total of six gold, 11 silver, and seven bronze medals. Tang Qianting and Tang Muhan each claimed a gold medal on the final day of the competition.

Chinese swimmers excelled in the women’s 800m freestyle, sweeping the podium with gold, silver and bronze medals.

Namibia announces 20-player squad for COSAFA women’s championship

WINDHOEK, Oct.21 (Xinhua) — Namibia’s women’s football coach Woody Jacobs announced the final 20-player squad on Sunday, ahead of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Women’s Championship.

The COSAFA Women’s Championship will run from October 22 to November 2 in South Africa.

Namibia is in Group A with South Africa, Seychelles and Eswatini. Their first match will be against South Africa on Tuesday.
