အစ္စရေးနိုင်ငံတစ်ဝန်း ဈေးဝယ်စင်တာများ၊ စားသောက်ဆိုင်များနှင့် ဈေးဝယ်အဆောက်အအုံများ စသဖြင့် ဆိုင်ခန်းအတွင်း၊ အပြင်နေရာများစွာ၌ မြို့ပြ ရွေ့လျားနိုင်သော ဒေါင်လိုက်စိုက်ခင်းများစွာကို Vertical Field က ထည့်သွင်းထားပြီးဖြစ်သည်။

အဆိုပါ စိုက်ခင်းများတွင် ဟင်းသီးဟင်းရွက်များကို ကွန်တိန်နာများ၏ နံရံများပေါ်၌ ဒေါင်လိုက်စိုက်ပျိုးနိုင်ပြီး ထိရောက်မှုရှိကာ ရေသုံးစွဲမှုကိုလည်း လျှော့ချပေးနိုင်သလို မြေဆီလွှာ လွန်ကဲစွာအသုံးပြုမှုကိုလည်း လျှော့ချပေးလျက်ရှိသည်။

ဆလပ်ရွက်၊ ပင်စိမ်း၊ တရုတ်နံနံ၊ ကိုက်လန်နှင့် ပူစီနံ စသည်တို့အပါအဝင် ထုတ်ကုန်များကို ရိတ်သိမ်းပြီးနောက် ဝယ်သူများထံ တိုက်ရိုက်ရောက်ရှိနိုင်ပြီဖြစ်သည်။ ဝယ်သူများအနေဖြင့် စိုက်ခင်းထဲမှ မြေဆီလွှာအချို့ကို နေအိမ်သို့ ယူဆောင်ခွင့်လည်း ရရှိနိုင်သည်။ (Xinhua)

Vertical farms seen in Israel’s supermarkets

“I’m standing at the sterilized container and that’s why I’m dressed like that, so I wouldn’t bring any bacteria or viruses inside of this environment. And the Israeli company Vertical Field that’s in charge of this facility believes it would be the future of agriculture, where plants, and in the future more kinds of crops and vegetables and fruits would be able to be grown in the sterilized environment without any added chemicals or pesticides and the fully clean products would be without any viruses or bacteria and the prices already almost the same as the traditional crops.”
Many portable urban vertical farms have been installed by Vertical Field at various indoor and outdoor spaces nationwide, such as supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping malls.

In such farms, vegetables can grow vertically on the walls of the containers, helping increase efficiency, minimize water consumption, and reduce the use of excessive soil.

The products, which include lettuce, basil, parsley, kale, and mint, can be accessed directly by clients after harvesting. The customers also have the chance to take home some of the bedding soil.
