Police officers help villager recover cash worth 100,000 yuan

Police officers in Luding County in China’s Sichuan Province have helped a villager recover more than 100,000 yuan (about 14,000 U.S. dollars) of cash from the debris.
The villager alerted the police about the loss on Sept. 23, weeks after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake jolted the region.
Police officers immediately arrived at the village, and worked with a hammer for about 30 minutes to recover the money.
