ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံတွင် သုံးရက်ကြာကျင်းပသော ရေသဘင်ပွဲတော်က မြို့တော် ဖနွမ်းပင်သို့ လာရောက်လည်ပတ်သည့် ပြည်တွင်း၊ ပြည်ပ ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည် ၄.၉ သန်းခန့်ကို ဆွဲဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့ကြောင်း နိုဝင်ဘာ ၂၉ ရက် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ ရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့၏ အစီရင်ခံစာအရ သိရသည်။နိုဝင်ဘာ ၂၆ ရက်မှ ၂၈ ရက်အထိ ကျင်းပခဲ့သော ရေသဘင်ပွဲတော်သည် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံတွင် အကြီးဆုံးပွဲတော်များအနက် တစ်ခုဖြစ်သည်။ ပွဲတော်ကာလအတွင်း ပွဲတော်၏ အဓိကတင်ဆက်မှုဖြစ်သော လှေပြိုင်ပွဲကို ကြည့်ရှုခံစားရန် နိုင်ငံတစ်ဝန်းမှ ပြည်သူများသည် မြို့တော် ဖနွမ်းပင်၏ မြစ်ကမ်းနံဘေးတွင် စုဝေးရောက်ရှိခဲ့ကြသည်။

ယင်းပွဲတော်သို့ လာရောက်လည်ပတ်ကြသူ အရေအတွက်မှာ နိုဝင်ဘာ ၂၆ ရက်တွင် ၁.၂ သန်း၊ နိုဝင်ဘာ ၂၇ ရက်တွင် ၁.၇ သန်းနှင့် နိုဝင်ဘာ ၂၈ ရက်တွင်မူ ၂ သန်းရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း အစီရင်ခံစာ၌ ဖော်ပြထားသည်။နေ့အချိန်တွင် လှေပြိုင်ပွဲများနှင့် ညအချိန်၌ သရုပ်ပြရေယာဉ်များ စီတန်းလှည့်လည်ခြင်းနှင့် မီးရှူးမီးပန်းများ ပစ်ဖောက်ခြင်း အစီအစဉ်များဖြင့် ကျင်းပသော အဆိုပါပွဲတော်သို့ ပြည်တွင်း၊ ပြည်ပ ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည် အမြောက်အမြား လာရောက်လည်ပတ်ခဲ့ကြကြောင်း ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားဝန်ကြီးချုပ် ဟွန်မန်နက်က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

လှေပြိုင်တွင် လှေလှော်ခတ်သူ ၂၀,၄၁၇ ဦးက လှေအစင်းရေ ၃၃၇ စင်းဖြင့် တော်ဝင်နန်းတော်ရှေ့ရှိ ၁.၇ ကီလိုမီတာရှည်လျားသော Tonle Sap မြစ်ပြင်တစ်လျှောက် ပြိုင်ပွဲဝင်ကြခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း လှေပြိုင်ပွဲ နည်းပညာထိန်းချုပ်ရေးကော်မတီ ဒုတိယ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ Bou Chumserey က ပြောခဲ့သည်။ (Xinhua)

Cambodia’s popular Water Festival attracts 4.9 mln visitors to capital
PHNOM PENH, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) — Cambodia’s three-day Water Festival attracted some 4.9 million locals and tourists to the capital Phnom Penh, according to a Cambodian National Police’s report on Wednesday.
Celebrated from Sunday to Tuesday, the water festival is one of the largest festivals in the Southeast Asian country. On the occasion, people from across the country flocked to the capital’s riverside to enjoy a regatta, which is the festival’s centerpiece.
The festival drew an estimated 1.2 million revelers on Sunday, 1.7 million on Monday, and 2 million on Tuesday, the report said.
Prime Minister Hun Manet said crowds of locals, as well as foreign tourists, had enjoyed the festival, which featured boat races in daytime and the parade of illuminated floats as well as fireworks at nighttime.
A total of 337 boats with 20,417 oarsmen took part in the regatta, which saw participants racing their boats along a 1.7-kilometer stretch of the Tonle Sap river that runs in front of the royal palace, said Bou Chumserey, vice chairman of the boat-racing technical control committee.
