NE China braces heavy rainfall brought by Typhoon Doksuri
Heavy rainfall has lashed swathes of northeast China over the past several days, submerging farms and worsening floods as rescue workers scramble to contain the havoc caused by Typhoon Doksuri.
In Jilin Province, authorities have stepped up efforts to drain submerged farmlands.
Heavy rainfalls have also caused power outages in some areas of Jilin, as the grid personnel scrambled to restore power.
