28 killed, over 20 injured in bus accident in SW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, May 29 (Xinhua) — At least 28 people were killed and over 20 others injured on Wednesday morning in a bus accident in Washuk district of Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province, local police said.
Local police told Xinhua that a bus carrying over 50 passengers fell into a ditch in Bismia area of the district, leaving 28 people dead, including women and children.
Medics feared that the death toll might rise further, as several of the injured were in critical condition.
