အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် နာရန်ဒြာမိုဒီက နိုင်ငံတစ်ဝန်း COVID-19 ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံခြင်းကို ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁၆ ရက်တွင် စတင်မည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနက ထုတ်ပြန်ထားသော ကြေညာချက်အရ သိရသည်။

အိန္ဒိယ ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲရေးဆိုင်ရာ အမျိုးသားအဆင့်ပညာရှင်အဖွဲ့အစည်း (NITI) Aayog (ကော်မရှင်) အဖွဲ့ဝင် V. K. Paul ၏ အဆိုအရ အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံတွင် ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးမည့် ပထမဆုံးနေ့တွင် လူဦးရေ ၃၀၀,၀၀၀ ကို ထိုးနှံပေးမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ ဘန်ဂလောမြို့ရှိ Serum Institute of India မှ ထုတ်လုပ်သော Covishield ကာကွယ်ဆေးပုလင်းများပါဝင်သည့် သေတ္တာများကို ဘန်ဂလောလေဆိပ် ဝန်ထမ်းများက လွှဲပြောင်းယူနေစဉ် (ဓာတ်ပုံ- Str/Xinhua)

“ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁၆ ရက်နေ့မှာ နေရာ ၃,၀၀၀ ၌ ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံခြင်း စတင်သွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ စင်တာတစ်ခုစီ၌ တစ်နေ့လျှင် လူ ၁၀၀ စတင်ထိုးနှံပေးမှာပါ” ဟု Paul ၏ ပြောကြားချက်အား ကိုးကား၍ ဒေသတွင်းရုပ်သံချန်နယ်က ဖော်ပြခဲ့သည်။

Paul က ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံမှုအစီအစဉ် တိုးတက်လာသည်နှင့်အမျှ နေရာပေါင်း ၅,၀၀၀ နှင့် အထက် တိုးမြှင့်လုပ်ဆောင်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ပြောခဲ့သည်။
တာဝန်ရှိသူများ အဆိုအရ ဦးစားပေးမှုမှာ လူဦးရေ သန်း ၃၀ ခန့်ရှိသည့် ဆေးဝန်ထမ်းများနှင့် ရှေ့တန်းမှ ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှု လုပ်ဆောင်နေကြသူများ၊ ယင်းနောက်တွင် အသက် ၅၀ နှစ်အထက်ရှိသူများ၊ ရောဂါအခံများရှိသော အသက် ၅၀ နှစ်အောက်ရှိသူများ စုစုပေါင်း လူဦးရေ သန်း ၂၇၀ ခန့်ကို ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံပေးမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

မကြာသေးမီက အိန္ဒိယဆေးဝါးထိန်းချုပ်မှုဗဟို (DCGI) သည် Serum Institute of India (SII) က ထုတ်လုပ်သော Oxford/Astrazeneca COVID-19 ကာကွယ်ဆေး Covishield နှင့် Bharat Biotech က ပြည်တွင်းဖြစ်ထုတ်လုပ်သော Covaxin ကာကွယ်ဆေး စသည်တို့ကို ကန့်သတ်ထားသော အရေးပေါ်အသုံးပြုမှုအတွက် ခွင့်ပြုခဲ့ပြီး လူအများအပြား ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံခြင်းအတွက် လမ်းဖွင့်ပေးခဲ့သည်။
Covishield နှင့် Covaxin ကာကွယ်ဆေးများကို ပြည်နယ်များသို့ ဖြန့်ဝေပေးခဲ့ပြီး ဇန်နဝါရီ၁၆ ရက်တွင် အပြည့်အဝ အသုံးပြုနိုင်ရန် ပြင်ဆင်မှုများ လုပ်ဆောင်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

India to launch countrywide COVID-19 vaccination drive on Jan. 16

According to officials, priority will be given to healthcare and frontline workers who are estimated to be around 30 million, followed by those above 50 years of age and the under-50 population groups with co-morbidities, totaling around 270 million.
NEW DELHI, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) — Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the countrywide COVID-19 vaccination drive on Saturday, a statement issued by the federal health ministry said.
According to V. K. Paul, a member of the government think tank National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog (commission), some 300,000 people will receive shots on the first day in India.
“The vaccination drive will begin with 3,000 sites on Saturday. Each center will inoculate 100 people a day to begin with,” Kaul was quoted by a local TV news channel as saying.
Paul said as the program progresses, it will increase to 5,000 sites and more.
According to officials, priority will be given to healthcare and frontline workers who are estimated to be around 30 million, followed by those above 50 years of age and the under-50 population groups with co-morbidities, totaling around 270 million.
Recently Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) approved two COVID-19 vaccines for restricted emergency use, namely the Oxford/Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine Covishield which is manufactured by Serum Institute of India (SII) and indigenously developed Covaxin of Bharat Biotech, paving the way for a massive inoculation drive.
Batches of Covishield and Covaxin have been distributed to different states and preparations are going on in full swing for the rollout on Saturday. ■
