တူရကီနိုင်ငံ ပင်လယ်နက်ဒေသအနောက်ပိုင်းတွင် မဟာအလက်ဇန္ဒားဟု လူသိများသည့် မက်ဆီဒိုးနီးယားနိုင်ငံ၏ တတိယမြောက် အလက်ဇန္ဒားဘုရင်၏ ဦးခေါင်းပုံတူ စကျင်ကျောက်ရုပ်တုတစ်ခုအား တူးဖော်တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း ဒေသန္တရတာဝန်ရှိသူများက စက်တင်ဘာ ၂၁ ရက်တွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

အဆိုပါ ဦးခေါင်းပုံတူ စကျင်ကျောက်ရုပ်တုအား Duzce ပြည်နယ်အတွင်းရှိ Prusias ad Hypium ရှေးဟောင်း ပြဇာတ်ရုံ၌ တူးဖော်မှုများ ဆောင်ရွက်နေစဉ်အတွင်း တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဒေသန္တရမြူနီစပယ်က ၎င်းတို့၏ ဝက်ဘ်ဆိုက်တွင် ဖော်ပြထားသည်။

Portrait of Alexander the Great’s head unearthed in Türkiye
A marble portrait of the head of King Alexander III of Macedon, known as Alexander the Great, was unearthed in the western Black Sea region of Türkiye, local authorities said Thursday.
The finding came during the ongoing excavations at the Prusias ad Hypium Ancient Theater in the province of Duzce, said the local municipality on its website.
It added that the piece was delivered to the Duzce Konuralp Museum to be examined and displayed.
Meanwhile, the museum stated that the Alexander head, measuring 23 cm from the top of the head to the neck, is dated back to the 2nd century AD.
