Robot dog inspects substation in S China
An all-terrain robot, self-developed by the South China Power Grid (CSG), enhances substation inspections with 100 percent coverage and reduces manual labor by 80 percent.
It navigates complex terrains, reaches speeds of up to 4.95 meters per second, and offers precise route planning, with 95 percent image recognition accuracy and 100 percent reliability in status detection, temperature measurement, and defect identification.
