Bayern bids farewell to Muller in style with emphatic win at Hoffenheim
Bayern Munich ended its Bundesliga campaign on a high with a convincing 4-0 victory over Hoffenheim on Saturday, in which club legend Thomas Muller made his final league appearance for the club.
Muller was the center of attention, having been given a starting role by coach Vincent Kompany in his 503rd and final Bundesliga match. Despite the emotional nature of the occasion, Bayern was all business from the outset, dominating possession away from home. Hoffenheim, needing a point to ensure safety, sat deep and frustrated the champion early on.
In the 33rd minute, Michael Olise stepped up to take a free kick and curled a brilliant shot into the bottom corner of the net. Bayern led 1-0 at halftime, though clear chances remained rare.

Real Madrid signs Spain international defender Huijsen from Bournemouth
Real Madrid signed Spain international defender Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth Saturday after activating his 50 million pounds (about $66.4 million) release clause.
The club confirmed the signing of the 20-year-old on a five-year deal via its official website Saturday afternoon.
“Real Madrid C. F. and AFC Bournemouth have reached an agreement for the transfer of Dean Huijsen, who will be linked to our club for the next five seasons, from 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2030,” the communique reads.
The signing allows Huijsen to represent Real Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off in the United States in mid-June. Madrid is set to debut against Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal on June 18.

Real Madrid Foundation to conduct youth football clinics in Namibia
The Real Madrid Foundation will conduct football clinics in Namibia in May 2025, aiming to train more than 1,000 learners and 150 teachers across four regions, officials announced on Friday.
Scheduled for May 19 to 23, the first round of clinics will take place in Katima Mulilo in the northeastern Zambezi Region. The second set will follow from May 26 to 30 in Nkurenkuru, located in the Kavango West Region, according to a statement from the Namibia Schools Sports Union (NSSU).
The program is part of the foundation’s global outreach, which currently operates in several countries and reaches more than 40,000 participants.
