တရုတ်နိုင်ငံက လူဦးရေထူထပ်များပြားသည့် ဖိလစ်ပိုင်နိုင်ငံ မနီလာမြို့ရှိ ခရိုင်နှစ်ခု ကို ချိတ်ဆက်ထားသော ဒေသတွင် အထင်ကရတံတားတစ်စင်းအား တည်ဆောက်ပေးခဲ့ရာ ယင်းတံတားကို ပြီးခဲ့သည့် အင်္ဂါနေ့ကဖိလစ်ပိုင်နိုင်ငံသမ္မတ ရိုဒရီဂို ဒူတာတေးက ဖွင့်လှစ်ပေးခဲ့သည် ။
သမ္မတဒူတာတေး က “ကျွန်တော်ကျေးဇူးတင်ကြောင်းပြောလိုပါတယ်၊ နောက်ပြီး တရုတ်ပြည်သူ့သမ္မတနိုင်ငံကိုလည်းမိမိတို့နိုင်ငံရဲ့ အဓိကကျတဲ့ အခြေခံ အဆောက်အဦ ဆိုင်ရာစီမံကိန်းတွေကို အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ရာမှာ အကူအညီပေးတဲ့မိတ်ဖက်နိုင်ငံတစ်နိုင်ငံဖြစ်လို့ စိတ်ရင်းနဲ့ကျေးဇူးတင်ကြောင်းပြောကြားလိုပါတယ်” ဟုဆိုသည်။

‌နောက်ဆုံးပေါ်ခေတ်မီနည်းပညာဖြင့်တည်ဆောက်ထားသည့်Binondo-Intramuros တံတားသည် မနီလာမြို့ရှိ လူဦးရေထူထပ်သောခရိုင်နှစ်ခုကိုဆက်သွယ်ဖောက်လုပ်ထားပြီး “Build, Build, Build” အစီအစဉ်အောက်တွင် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံက တည်ဆောက်ပေးခဲ့သည့် တံတားနှစ်စင်းအနက် တစ်စင်းဖြစ်သည်။

စုစုပေါင်းတံတားအရှည် ၆၈၉ မီတာရှိသည့် ထိုတံတားစီမံကိန်းတွင် မီတာ ၇၀ အရှည်ရှိသည့် ၄ လမ်းသွား တံတားတစ်စင်းနှင့် မီတာ ၂၁.၆၅ အကျယ်ရှိ လက်ဆွဲခြင်းသဏ္ဍာန် သံမဏိ လက်ကိုင်းများ တပ်ဆင်ထားကာ မနီလာမြို့ကြီး၏ ရှုပ်ထွေးမှုအရှိဆုံး ခရိုင် များကို ချိတ်ဆက်ထားသည်။

ဖိလစ်ပိုင်နိုင်ငံ ပြည်သူ့ဝန်ဆောင်မှု ယာယီဝန်ကြီးဖြစ်သူ Roger Mercado က ထိုတံတားတွင် နေ့စဉ် မော်တော်ဆိုင်ကယ်ပေါင်း ၃၀,၀၀၀ သွားလာဖြတ်သန်းနိုင်မည်ဟု ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ အဆိုပါတံတားတွင် လူသွားလမ်းစင်္ကြံများနှင့်အပြေးလေ့ကျင့်သည့်လမ်းများကို ဘေးကင်းစိတ်ချစေရန် လက်ရန်းများဖြင့် ခြားထားပေးပြီး မော်တော်ယာဉ်အသုံးမပြုဘဲ သယ်ယူပို့ဆောင်ရေးစနစ်ကို အားပေးရန် စက်ဘီးသမားများအတွက် လမ်းအမှတ်အသားများ လုပ်ဆောင်ပေးထားသည်။

ပထမ စီမံကိန်း နှစ်ခု ဖြစ်သည့် Makati နှင့် Mandaluyong သို့ချိတ်ဆက်သည့် Estrella-Pantaleon တံတားသည် ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်တွင်ပြီးစီးခဲ့သည်။ ၄ လမ်းသွားတည်ဆောက်ထားသည့် တံတားကြီး၌ နေ့စဉ် မော်တော်ဆိုင်ကယ်ပေါင်း ၅၀,၀၀၀ ဖြတ်သန်းသွားလာနိုင်ကြောင်းသိရသည်။

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte led the unveiling of an iconic China-gifted bridge that connects two busy districts in Manila City on Tuesday.

As a modern state-of-the-art bridge connecting two busy districts in Manila City, the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge is one of the two China-gifted bridges under the “Build, Build, Build” program.

With a total length of 680 meters, the project involves the construction of a four-lane 70-meter long and 21.65-meter wide basket-handle tied steel arch bridge connecting Metro Manila’s busiest districts.

China’s Ambassador to the Philippines, Huang Xilian, said the new Binondo-Intramuros Bridge is the 16th government-to-government project completed between China and the Philippines since Duterte came to power in 2016.

“Binondo-Intramuros Bridge is one of the flagship posts under the ‘Build, Build, Build’ program, and it marks another milestone of the synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and the ‘Build, Build, Build’ program.”

Philippine Public Works Acting Secretary Roger Mercado said the bridge can cater to 30,000 motorists daily. It also has a sidewalk for pedestrians and joggers separated by safety railings and a marked lane for bikers to encourage the non-motorized mode of transport.

The new bridge that illuminates at night is expected to be a new landmark and tourism attraction for those seeking a picturesque view of Manila.

The first of the two projects, the Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge, which connects the cities of Makati and Mandaluyong, was completed in 2021. The four-lane bridge caters to 50,000 motorists daily.
