လာအိုအစိုးရသည် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်မတိုင်မီ နိုင်ငံတစ်ဝန်း သစ်တော ဖုံးလွှမ်းမှု ၇၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းရရှိရေး ကြိုးပမ်းအားထုတ်မှု တစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်း အဖြစ် ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်အတွင်း မြေဧက ၄၂ ,၀၀၀ တွင် သစ်ပင်ပေါင်း ၃၄ သန်းစိုက်ပျိုးသွားရန် ပြင်ဆင်နေကြောင်း သိရသည်။ သစ်တောအာဏာပိုင်များသည်ပညာရေးနှင့်အားကစားဌာနများနှင့် လက်တွဲပူးပေါင်းကာ အများပြည်သူဆိုင်ရာ ပန်းခြံ၊ လမ်းဘေး တစ်လျှောက်ကဲ့သို့သောနေရာများတွင် သစ်ပင်စိုက်ပျိုးခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ လှုပ်ရှားဆောင်ရွက်မှုများကို စုစည်းလုပ်ဆောင်ရန်အတွက် စာသင် ကျောင်းများ၊ ကောလိပ်များနှင့်အခြားသောအဖွဲ့အစည်းများကိုတိုက်တွန်း နှိုးဆော်သွားမည်ဖြစ်သည်။

Laos to plant 34 mln trees in 2024
VIENTIANE, May 29 (Xinhua) — The Lao government plans to plant 34 million trees on 42,000 hectares of land in 2024 as part of efforts to achieve 70 percent forest cover across the country by 2025.
Forestry authorities will partner with provincial education and sports departments to encourage schools, colleges and other institutions to organize tree-planting activities in places such as public parks and along roadsides.
Such activities are becoming increasingly important in achieving the nation’s forest cover targets, as well as mitigating the effects of environmental damage and protecting biodiversity.
