Heat wave to hit northwest, east India in 5 days
NEW DELHI, June 11 (Xinhua) — Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday said heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are likely to hit the South Asian country’s northwest and east in the next five days. The IMD said on Sunday maximum temperatures were in the range of 42-45 degrees Celsius in many parts of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, in some parts of north Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar and Gujarat.
