မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီး ပုဂံရှေးဟောင်းယဉ်ကျေးမှုနယ်မြေရှိ ရှေးဟောင်းရေကန်များကို ပြန်လည်ပြုပြင်တူးဖော်ထိန်းသိမ်းရေး ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း နိုင်ငံပိုင်မီဒီယာ MRTV သတင်းဖော်ပြချက်အရ သိရသည်။
ရှေးဟောင်းရေကန်များကို ပြန်လည်ပြုပြင်တူးဖော်ထိန်းသိမ်းရေးလုပ်ငန်းကို အဆင့်နှစ်ဆင့်ဖြင့် ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း၊ ပထမအဆင့်တွင် ပုဂံခေတ်က ရေလမ်းကြောင်းများနှင့် ဆက်စပ်နေသော ရေကန်များကို ဦးစားပေးတူးဖော်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ရှေးဟောင်းသုတေသနနှင့် အမျိုးသားပြတိုက်ဦးစီးဌာန၊ ပုဂံဌာနခွဲ၊ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူး ဦးကျော်မျိုးဝင်း၏ ပြောကြားချက်အား ကိုးကား၍ MRTV က သတင်းဖော်ပြထားသည်။

လက်ရှိတွင် ရှေးဟောင်းရေကန် ၁၉ ကန်ကို ပြန်လည်ပြုပြင်တူးဖော်ပြီးဖြစ်ကြောင်းနှင့် နောက်ထပ် ရေကန် ၅ ကန် ဆက်လက်တူးဖော်နေဆဲဖြစ်ကြောင်း သတင်း၌ ဖော်ပြထားသည်။
ပုဂံရှေးဟောင်းယဉ်ကျေးမှုနယ်မြေတွင် စုစုပေါင်းရေကန် ၉၀ ကျော်ရှိပြီး ယင်းအနက် ၄၆ ကန်ကို ပထမအဆင့်အနေဖြင့် လျာထားဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

Myanmar restores ancient lakes at renowned archaeological site Bagan
YANGON, June 3 (Xinhua) — Myanmar is working on restoring old lakes from ancient times in the famous archaeological site called Bagan in Mandalay Region, the official state television channel MRTV reported on Monday.
The report, citing U Kyaw Myo Win, a director from the Department of Archaeology and National Museum in Bagan, said the restoration works will be implemented in two phases, with the first phase focusing on restoring the lakes that were part of the waterways during Bagan era.
This restoration work aims to prevent flooding during the rainy season by letting water flow properly, the report said.
As of now, 19 ancient lakes have already been restored, and five more lakes are currently undergoing restoration, the report said.
The report said there are over 90 ancient lakes in total at the archaeological site, and 46 of them are scheduled for restoration in this first phase.
