Death toll from inclement weather conditions rises to 26 in Sri Lanka
COLOMBO, June 5 (Xinhua) — Twenty-six people have been killed and 41 others injured due to the prevailing inclement weather conditions in Sri Lanka, State Minister of Defense Premitha Bandara Tennakoon said on Tuesday. The state minister told the parliament that 130,021 people from 33,422 families have been affected by the disasters caused by heavy rains by Tuesday morning.
