“သမုဒ္ဒရာထဲကို နျူကလီးယား ညစ်ညမ်းမှုဖြစ်စေတဲ့ ရေဆိုးတွေ စွန့်ထုတ်နေတာကို သူတို့ ချက်ချင်းရပ်မယ်လို့ မျှော်လင့်ပါတယ်။ အခု ဂျပန်အစိုးရနဲ့ TEPCO က ကျွန်တော်တို့ကို နှုတ်ပိတ်ခပေးပြီး နစ်နာကြေးပေးချင်နေတာပါ။ ငွေကြေးက အဓိကမကျပါဘူး။ ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ အဖြစ်ချင်ဆုံးဆန္ဒက ငါးဖမ်းသမားတွေ စိတ်ချမ်းသာစွာနဲ့ ဆက်ပြီးငါးဖမ်းနိုင်ဖို့နဲ့ ပင်လယ်စာထွက်ကုန်တွေ ဘေးကင်းဖို့ပါပဲ” ဟု ဦးဆောင်ဆန္ဒပြသူ တိုရှိဟိရို အိနိုအုအဲက ဆိုသည်။
“နျူကလီးယား စွန့်ပစ်ရေဆိုးတွေကို ပင်လယ်ထဲ စွန့်ထုတ်တာက ပင်လယ်ပြင်ကို ညစ်ညမ်းစေတယ်ဆိုတာ မငြင်းနိုင်တဲ့အချက်ပါ။ ဘယ်လောက်ပဲ အာနိသင်လျော့သွားပါစေ အဆက်မပြတ် စွန့်ထုတ်နေမယ်ဆိုရင် ပင်လယ်ထဲကို ညစ်ညမ်းပစ္စည်းတွေ အများကြီးစီးဝင်သွားမှာပါ။ လူတော်တော်များများက အဲဒါကိုသိလို့ တော်တော်ဒေါသထွက်နေကြတယ်” ဟု ဖူကူရှီးမား နျူကလီးယား ဖြစ်ရပ်ဆိုး၏ သားကောင်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ရသူ မိခါ ဆာခါဂုချိက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
“နျူကလီးယား ယိုစိမ့်မှုဖြစ်တော့ ရေဒီယိုသတ္တိကြွ ညစ်ညမ်းမှုတွေဖြစ်လာလို့ ကျွန်မရဲ့အိမ် ဖြိုချခံလိုက်ရပြီး နေအိမ်ကို ဆုံးရှုံးခဲ့ရတယ်။ ဂျပန်အစိုးရက ဆင်ဝှေ့ရန်ရှောင် လုပ်တဲ့နေရာမှာ သိပ်တော်တယ်လို့ ကျွန်မထင်တယ်။ တရားခံအစစ်က ကျိန်းသေပေါက် ဂျပန်ပါ။ တရုတ် အပါအဝင် အိမ်နီးချင်းနိုင်ငံတွေနဲ့ ကျွန်မတို့ ပြည်သူတွေက တကယ်နစ်နာသူတွေပါ” ဟု ၎င်းက ဆိုသည်။

STORY: Japan’s year-long nuclear-contaminated wastewater discharge sparks protests
A year after Japan started its ocean discharge of nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, Japanese citizens have gathered in Tokyo to protest the irresponsible move, while criticizing the Japanese government for shifting the blame for the negative impact on domestic seafood’s reputation onto other countries.
The protest organized by Japanese civil groups was held on Saturday, a year after the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), or the plant’s operator, officially began discharging nuclear-contaminated water from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean.

“We hope that they immediately stop discharging nuclear-contaminated water into the ocean.
Now the Japanese government and TEPCO want to compensate us with hush money. But I think it’s nothing to do with the money. Our most urgent desire is that fishermen can continue to fish with peace of mind, and the seafood is safe.”

“It is an indisputable fact that the discharge of nuclear-contaminated wastewater into the sea has polluted the sea. No matter how diluted, if the discharge continues, a lot of pollutants will flow into the sea.

After the nuclear leak, I lost my home as it was demolished due to radiation contamination.
I think the Japanese government is good at evasive tactics. The real perpetrator is Japan for sure. Neighboring countries including China and our civilians are the real victims.”
Japan has conducted eight releases to date, with a total volume of approximately 63,000 tonnes of contaminated water discharged over the past year.
Additionally, multiple safety incidents occurred at the crippled plant throughout the year, triggering growing concern and doubt among the local public.
