34 Vietnamese students awarded Chinese government scholarship

HANOI, July 27 (Xinhua) — The Chinese Embassy in Vietnam recently held a ceremony to present admission letters to 34 Vietnamese students who have been awarded Chinese government scholarships for academic year 2025/26.
Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei on Thursday urged the recipients to discover China with their own footsteps, transform their lives with knowledge, and forge friendships with sincerity.
He also expressed hope that they would draw inspiration from China’s modernization, dedicate their youth and wisdom to the cause of socialism, and contribute to mutual understanding between the peoples of the two nations.
Nguyen Hai Thanh, deputy director general of the International Cooperation Department under Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training, thanked China for its support to Vietnam’s education sector.
Thanh called on the students to cherish their time abroad, study diligently, and strive to become both pillars of their nation’s development and a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and China.
