ယူနက်စကို ကမ္ဘာ့အမွေအနှစ် နေရာတစ်ခု ဖြစ်သည့် လဲ့ဆန်းဗုဒ္ဓရုပ်ပွားတော်ကြီးသည် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ အနောက်တောင်ပိုင်း စီချွမ်းပြည်နယ် လဲ့ဆန်းမြို့ပြင်၌ တည်ရှိပါသည်။

အဆိုပါ ဗုဒ္ဓရုပ်ပွားတော်ကြီးကို လဲ့ဆန်းတောင်ရှိ ကျောက်သားနံရံ၌ ထွင်းထုထားပြီး မင်းကျန်း ၊ ချင်းရီး နှင့် တာ့သု မြစ်သုံးစင်းဆုံရာနေရာ၌ တည်ရှိသည်။ ယင်းဗုဒ္ဓရုပ်ပွားတော်ကြီးကို ထန်မင်းဆက် (၆၁၈-၉၀၇) အတွင်း သက္ကရာဇ် ၇၁၃ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်တည်ထားခြင်း ဖြစ်ပြီး ဘုရားတည်ရန် နှစ်ပေါင်း ၉၀ ကြာမြင့်ခဲ့သည်။ (Xinhua)

A night view of Leshan Giant Buddha in SW China
The Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is situated outside the city of Leshan, southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
The Buddha statue, carved into a cliff in Leshan Mountain and overlooking three converging rivers, namely the Minjiang, Qingyi and Dadu rivers, was built over a 90-year period beginning in 713 during the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
