အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ မြောက်ပိုင်း Uttar Pradesh ပြည်နယ်ရှိ Kanpur ခရိုင်၌ ဇီကာဗိုင်းရပ်စ်ဖြစ်ပွားသူမှာ အရေအတွက် ၁၀၀ ကျော် ရှိလာခဲ့ကြောင်း တာဝန်ရှိသူများက နိုဝင်ဘာ ၁၀ ရက်တွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ တစ်လအတွင်း Kanpur ခရိုင်မှာ ဇီကာဗိုင်းရပ်ဖြစ်ပွားသူ ၁၀၅ ဦး တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အခုဆိုရင် အဲဒီထဲက ၁၇ ဦးက ရောဂါပျောက်ကင်းသွားပါပြီ။”ဟု Uttar Pradesh ပြည်နယ်ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် Yogi Adityanath က မီဒီယာအား ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ပြည်နယ်ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် Yogi Adityanath က ဗိုင်းရပ်စ်ကူးစက်မှု ဖြစ်ပွားသည့်နေရာသို့ သွားရောက်ပြီး Kanpur ခရိုင်အတွင်းရှိ အခြေအနေအား ပြန်လည်သုံးသပ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း နှင့် ရောဂါကူးစက်ခံရသည့် လူနာများ၏ မိသားစုဝင်များနှင့် စကားပြောဆိုခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

ဒေသန္တရအုပ်ချုပ်ရေး ၊ ကျန်းမာရေးဌာန နှင့် မြူနီစပယ်ကောင်စီတို့သည် Kanpur ခရိုင်အတွင်းရှိ ရောဂါစောင့်ကြည့်ခြင်း ၊ သန့်ရှင်းမှု နှင့် စုံစမ်းစစ်ဆေးမှုတို့အား တိုးမြှင့်ဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်းအပေါ် ဗျူဟာကျကျ လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြောင်း ပြည်နယ်ဝန်ကြီးချုပ်က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

Zika virus cases in northern Indian state cross 100 mark

NEW DELHI, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) — The number of Zika virus cases in Kanpur district in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh has crossed 100, officials said Wednesday.
“In the past one month, 105 positive cases of Zika virus were detected in Kanpur and out of which 17 have become negative now,” Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told media.
Adityanath reviewed the situation in Kanpur by visiting the virus-hit areas and speaking to family members of the infected patients.

Adityanath said the district administration, health department and municipal council have strategically worked on increasing surveillance, sanitization and investigation in Kanpur.
In India, the first outbreak of the mosquito-borne virus was reported in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) in 2017 and later on from the Krishnagiri district in Tamil Nadu. Officials said both these outbreaks were successfully contained through intensive surveillance and vector management.

The disease ceases to be a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC), according to the World Health Organization, and can be handled as per existing protocol. Enditem
