မေ ၃၀ ရက်ကဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သည့် သေဆုံးမှုများမှာ လက်ရှိဖြစ်ပေါ်နေသသည့် အပူလှိုင်းနှင့် ဆက်စပ်မှုရှိနိုင်သည်ဟု ဆရာဝန်များက ပြောသည်။ ရောကီလာ အစိုးရဆေးရုံတွင် လူ ၁၀ ဦးသေဆုံးခဲ့ပြီး ဆန်ဒရာဂရက်ဖ် ခရိုင်ဆေးရုံတွင် လေးဦးသေဆုံးခဲ့သည်ဟုအစီရင်ခံစာများအရ သိရသည်။

ရှစ်ဦးမှာ ရောကီလာ အစိုးရဆေးရုံသို့ ရောက်ရှိလာသည့်အခါ သေဆုံးနေကြပြီဖြစ်ပြီး ကျန်သေဆုံးသူများမှာမူ ကုသမှုခံယူရင်းနေဆုံးခဲ့ကြခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ဆေးရုံအာဏာပိုင်များက ရင်ခွဲစစ်ဆေးမှုပြုလုပ်ပြီးနောက် သေဆုံးရသည့် အကြောင်းကို ရှာဖွေနိုင်လိမ့်မည်ဟု အေအိုင်အာရေဒီယိုတွင်ဖော်ပြခဲ့သည်။
ဩဒိဿပြည်နယ်သည် ပြင်းထန်သည့်အပူလှိုင်း ပြည်နယ်အတွင်း အချို့နေရာများတွင် အပူချိန် ၄၅ ဒီဂရီ ဆဲလ်စီးယပ်အထက် ကျော်လွန်နေသည်။ ပြည်နယ်အတွင်း အပူဆုံးနေရာဖြစ်သည့် ဂျာဆူဂူဒါတွင် မေ ၃၀ ရက် အပူချိန် ၄၇ ဒီဂရီဆဲလ်စီးယပ်ရှိသည်။

14 Killed over suspected heatstroke in India’s Odisha
NEW DELHI, May 31 (Xinhua) — At least 14 people died of suspected heatstroke in India’s eastern state of Odisha, All India Radio (AIR) said Friday.
Doctors said the deaths, which were recorded on Thursday, could be linked to the ongoing heatwave.
According to the report, 10 persons died at the Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) and four persons died at the Sundergarh district headquarters hospital.
“Eight people were dead by the time they reached the RGH, while the rest died while undergoing treatment there. The RGH authorities will ascertain the real cause of death today after the post-mortem examination,” the AIR said.
Odisha is experiencing an intense heatwave and mercury has soared above 45 degrees Celsius in major parts of the state.
Reports said Jharsuguda was the hottest place in the state as the maximum temperature recorded on Thursday was 47 degrees Celsius.
Officials said people are being admitted to hospitals for treatment of heat-related illnesses.
India’s weather department has suggested that people should avoid heat exposure, stay in cool places and keep hydrated by drinking sufficient water. ■
