Watermelon festival held in Los Angeles
The 2023 California Watermelon Festival is taking place in Los Angeles over the weekend, featuring free watermelons, live entertainment, carnival rides and other activities for families.
During the two-day event, organizers plan to distribute over 100,000 pounds (about 45,360 kg) of watermelons to visitors as hundreds of people gather to taste watermelons and delicious food, and participate in watermelon-themed contests.
