လက်ဘနွန်နိုင်ငံတွင် ဩဂုတ် ၄ ရက်၌ ကျရောက်မည့် ဘေရွတ်ဆိပ်ကမ်း ပေါက်ကွဲမှုကြီး ၂ နှစ်မြောက် နှစ်ပတ်လည် မတိုင်မီ ရက်အနည်းအငယ်အလိုက ဘေရွတ်ဆိပ်ကမ်း မြောက်ဘက် စားနပ်ရိက္ခာ သိုလှောင်သော အဆောက်အအုံကြီးများမှာ ရက်သတ္တပတ်များစွာကြာသည့်တိုင် မီးလောင်မှုဖြစ်ပွားပြီးနောက် ဇူလိုင် ၃၁ ရက်တွင် ပြိုကျပျက်စီးခဲ့ရာ ယင်းဖြစ်ရပ်ကြောင့် တိမ်တိုက်ပမာဖုန်မှုန့်များ ထွက်ပေါ်လာခဲ့သည်။အဆိုပါ တိမ်တိုက်သဖွယ် ဖုန်မှုန့်များက ဆိပ်ကမ်းမှ မီတာ ၁,၅၀၀ သို့ပင် လွှင့်စင်ခဲ့ကြောင်း လက်ဘနွန် သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ထိန်းသိမ်းရေး ဝန်ကြီး Nasser Yassin ၏ ပြောကြားချက်ကို ကိုးကား၍ အမျိုးသားသတင်းအေဂျင်စီက ဖော်ပြခဲ့သည်။

ဆိပ်ကမ်းမြောက်ဘက်ရှိ စားနပ်ရိက္ခာသိုလှောင်ရုံကြီးများ၏ မီးလောင်မှုသည် ပြီးခဲ့သော သီတင်းပတ် ၃ ပတ်ခန့်က စပါးအချဉ်ပေါက်မှုကြောင့် ဖြစ်ရာ မီးငြှိမ်းသတ်ရန် ကြိုးပမ်းခဲ့သော်လည်း ဆက်လက် လောင်ကျွမ်းနေခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

BEIRUT, July 31 (Xinhua) — Just a few days before the second anniversary of the Beirut explosions on Aug. 4, the northern part of the Beirut port grain silos collapsed on Sunday after being on fire for weeks, causing a huge cloud of dust.
The dust cloud has gone as far as 1,500 meters from the port, the National News Agency quoted Lebanese Environment Minister Nasser Yassin as saying.
A fire broke out in the northern part of the port’s silos about three weeks ago because of the fermenting grains there and has been going on despite constant efforts to extinguish it.
The northern part of massive silos withstood the huge explosions on Aug. 4, 2020 in the Beirut port which killed at least 200, wounded more than 6,000, and destroyed a big part of the Lebanese capital.
