တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ အနောက်တောင်ပိုင်း စီချွမ်းပြည်နယ်ရှိ တောင်စောင်းတွင် ၈ ရာစုက ထွင်းထုထားသော လဲ့ဆန်း ဧရာမ ဗုဒ္ဓရုပ်ပွားတော်ကြီးသည် သဘာဝအလှတရားနေရာ တစ်နေရာဖြစ်သည်။ မင်းကျန်း ၊ ချင်းရီး နှင့် တာ့သု မြစ်သုံးစင်းဆုံရာနေရာကို မျက်နှာမူထားပြီး ဉာဏ်တော်အမြင့် ၇၁ မီတာရှိသော လဲ့ဆန်း ဧရာမ ဗုဒ္ဓရုပ်ပွားတော်ကြီးသည် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၏ အရေးပါဆုံး ယဉ်ကျေးမှုရတနာတစ်ခုဖြစ်သည်။ အဆိုပါ ရုပ်ပွားတော်ကြီးကို ၁၉၉၆ ခုနှစ်က ယူနက်စကို (UNESCO) ကမ္ဘာ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်စာရင်းတွင် ထည့်သွင်းခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

View of Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site
Carved out of a hillside in the 8th century, the Leshan Giant Buddha is an area of natural beauty. Facing the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu and Qingyi rivers, the 71 meters tall Giant Buddha of Leshan is one of the most important cultural treasures of China. The Leshan Giant Buddha was inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list in 1996.
