ဖိလစ်ပိုင်သမ္မတ ရိုဒရီဂို ဒူတာတေး (Rodrigo Duterte) ၏ နှစ်ရှည်လက်ထောက်အဖြစ် တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့သည့် အလှည့်ကျ အထက်လွှတ်တော်အမတ် Christopher Go သည် ဖိလစ်ပိုင်နိုင်ငံ၏ ၂၀၂၂ သမ္မတရွေးကောက်ပွဲမှ တရားဝင်နုတ်ထွက်ကြောင်း ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၁၄ ရက်တွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

အသက် ၄၇ နှစ်အရွယ်ရှိ Go သည် နုတ်ထွက်မှုအား ကိုယ်တိုင်ကိုယ်ကျ အကြောင်းကြားရန် မနီလာရှိ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲ ကော်မရှင်ထံ သွားရောက်ခဲ့သည်။“ကျွန်တော်ရွေးကောက်ပွဲကနေနုတ်ထွက်ခဲ့ပြီးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။’’ ဒါနဲ့ ပတ်သက်ပြီးတော့ နိုဝင်ဘာ ၃၀ ရက်က ပြောခဲ့ပြီး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်’’ ဟု Go က ဆိုသည်။

Go သည် အောက်တိုဘာလတွင် ဒုသမ္မတလောင်းဝင်အရွေးခံရန်အတွက် ၎င်း၏ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်းလက်မှတ်ကို လျှောက်လွှာတင်သွင်းခဲ့ပြီး နောက်ပိုင်းတွင် ဒူတာတေး ဦးဆောင်သော အာဏာရ PDP-Laban ပါတီအောက်တွင် သမ္မတလောင်းအဖြစ် လျှောက်လွှာအား အဆင့်တိုးမြှင့်တင်သွင်းခဲ့သည်။

Duterte’s aide-turned-senator drops from 2022 Philippine presidential race
MANILA, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) — Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s longtime aide-turned-senator Christopher Go on Tuesday said he formally withdrew from the country’s 2022 presidential race.
Go, 47, went to the Commission on Elections in Manila to personally inform the poll body. “I am already out of the race,” Go said, noting that he “already said it” on Nov. 30.
Go filed his certificate for candidacy for vice president in October and then upgraded to presidential bid later under the ruling PDP-Laban chaired by Duterte.
Duterte has yet to name the presidential candidate he will support. Enditem
