Barcelona opens slight gap at top of La Liga after win over Sociedad
FC Barcelona extended its lead at the top of La Liga on Sunday with a comfortable 4-0 win at home against Real Sociedad.
The victory puts Barca a point ahead of Atletico Madrid and three points clear of Real Madrid. Coach Hansi Flick will be pleased with the result, which allowed him to rest key players ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League tie with Benfica.
