အစ္စရေး-လက်ဘနွန် ဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို ဧပြီ ၁၆ ရက်၌ ပြုလုပ်မည်ဟု အမေရိကန်နိုင်ငံ သမ္မတ ဒေါ်နယ်ထရမ့်က ဧပြီ ၁၅ ရက်၌ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ 

“အစ္စရေးနဲ့ လက်ဘနွန်အကြား အသက်ရှူပေါက်လေးရဖို့ ကြိုးစားတဲ့အနေနဲ့ပေါ့။ နှစ်ဘက်ခေါင်းဆောင်တွေ တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးမှုမရှိတာ အချိန်အတော်ကြာပါပြီ၊ ၃၄ နှစ်လောက်ရှိပါပြီ။ အဲဒါဟာ မနက်ဖြန်ဆိုရင် ဖြစ်မြောက်လာတော့မှာပါ” ဟု ထရမ့်က Truth Social ၌ ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။ 

အစ္စရေးနှင့် လက်ဘနွန်တို့သည် ဧပြီ ၁၄ ရက်က ဝါရှင်တန်တွင် တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပြီး အစ္စရေးဘက်က ဟစ်ဇ်ဘိုလာ လက်နက်စွန့်ရေးကို အတင်းအကျပ်တောင်းဆိုခဲ့သလို လက်ဘနွန်ဘက်ကလည်း အပစ်အခတ်ရပ်စဲရေး၊ အီရန်နှင့် အမေရိကန်-အစ္စရေး စစ်ပွဲကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသည့် ဆိုးဝါးသော လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှု အကျပ်အတည်း ပြေလျော့ရေးအတွက် အပြုသဘောစီမံဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ လုပ်ဆောင်ရန် တိုက်တွန်းခဲ့ကြောင်း အမေရိကန်နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်အရ သိရသည်။ 

ထို့ပြင် ဘက်အသီးသီးအနေဖြင့် အပြန်အလှန် သဘောတူထားသော အချိန်နှင့် နေရာ၌ တိုက်ရိုက်ဆွေးနွေးညှိနှိုင်းမှုလုပ်ဆောင်ရန် သဘောတူခဲ့ကြကြောင်း ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်၌ ဖော်ပြထားသည်။

Trump says Israel-Lebanon talks to take place on Thursday   

WASHINGTON, April 15 (Xinhua) 

— U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Israel-Lebanon talks will take place on Thursday.   “Trying to get a little breathing room between Israel and Lebanon. It has been a long time since the two leaders have spoken, like 34 years. It will happen tomorrow,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.   Israel and Lebanon on Tuesday held a meeting in Washington, where Israel insisted on Hezbollah’s disarmament and Lebanon called for a ceasefire and concrete measures to ease the severe humanitarian crisis resulting from the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran, according to a statement from the U.S. State Department.   All sides agreed to launch direct negotiations at a mutually agreed time and venue, said the statement.   The meeting marked the first major high-level engagement between Israel and Lebanon since 1993, it said.
