IRGC မှ လေတပ်ဦးစီးချုပ် Amir Ali Hajuzadeh က “ လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့၁၅ နှစ်က မိမိတို့မှာ ဒီလိုလုပ်နိုင်စွမ်းမရှိခဲ့ပါဘူး၊ နောက်ပြီး ရေဒါသုံးကိရိယာတွေ၊ စစ်ရေးနည်းပညာတွေ၊ မြေပြင်မှဝေဟစ်ပစ်ဒုံးကျည်စနစ်တွေအကုန်လုံးကို နိုင်ငံခြားအထောက်အပံ့ပေါ်မှာမှီခိုခဲ့ရပါတယ်”ဟုပြောသည်။
“လက်ရှိမှာတော့ နှစ်စဉ်ကျင်းပတဲ့ လေ့ကျင့်ရေးတွေမှာသုံးတဲ့ လက်နက်ကိရိယာတွေအကုန်လုံးကို အီရန်နိုင်ငံထဲမှာထုတ်လုပ်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါပြီ” ဟု သူကဆက်လက်ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

Iran tests new indigenous air defense systems in large-scale drill
TEHRAN, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) — Iran on Wednesday tested new domestically developed air defense equipment during a large-scale air defense drill in the northern province of Semnan, official news agency IRNA reported.

Units from the army as well as the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) started on Tuesday the joint exercise codenamed Defenders of the Velayat Skies 1400.

“Fifteen years ago, we did not have such capabilities, and we depended on foreign equipment in radar, command, and control as well as surface-to-air missile systems,” said Amir Ali Hajizadeh, aerospace commander of the IRGC.
“Now, all the equipment used in the yearly exercise has been developed in Iran,” he added.

Remote-controlled winged bombs fired from warplanes were launched for the first time by the Iranian armed forces, and a new IRGC long-range pulse radar system entered service, according to Hajizadeh.

The radar system, known as Qods, can detect targets at a range of more than 500 km and an altitude of more than 90,000 feet, according to a report on the IRGC’s official online outlet.

The Qods radar can be mounted and operated on a single vehicle, works on domestically-developed software, and is designed to confront different electronic warfare tactics, the report said.

Two air defense systems called Joshan and Khatam were test-fired for the first time in the drill and successfully destroyed low-altitude targets simulating an infiltration, said Ghader Rahimzadeh, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia air defense base, as quoted by the IRGC’s official news site.

Joshan is an upgraded version of the Iranian Khordad 15 surface-to-air missile system unveiled in 2019, Rahimzadeh added.
Additionally, semi-official Tasnim news agency reported the use in the drill of an unknown new mobile medium-range missile system with quadruple vertical canisters.

The unknown system appeared to be equipped with a radar installed on the launcher, which would allow each launch system to act independently with no need for a secondary radar-carrying vehicle, Tasnim said.

Each battery of the unknown system is expected to be armed with eight to 12 missiles and is believed to have the ability to be mounted on naval vessels, it added. Enditem
