Kucukcekmece ခရိုင် ၌ လူနှစ်ဦးသည် ပစ္စည်းများအား ဈေးကွက်တင်ရန်ပြင်ဆင်နေသည်ဟူသော သတင်းပေးပို့ချက်ရရှိခဲ့သဖြင့် ရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်များသည် ဂိုထောင်တစ်ခုအတွင်းသို့ ရှာဖွေစစ်ဆေးမှုလုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်းနိုင်ငံပိုင် Anadolu သတင်းဌာနကထုတ်ပြန်သည်။

Turkish police seize 12,000 liters ethyl alcohol used for making fake drinks

ISTANBUL, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) — Turkish police on Saturday seized 12,000 liters of ethyl alcohol used for making fake drinks in Istanbul and detained two suspects.

Acting upon a tip-off that two people have been preparing to put the substance on the market in the Kucukcekmece district, police teams launched an operation to a warehouse, the state-run Anadolu agency said.

During the raid, the police units also seized 3,000 liters of methyl alcohol, 10,000 empty plastic cans, and various equipment used to make fake drinks, Anadolu also noted.

In October 2020, more than 40 people died after consuming bootleg alcohol in several Turkish provinces.  Enditem
