Air China နှင့် ဗြိတိန် အင်ဂျင်နီယားရင်းကုမ္ပဏီကြီးတစ်ခုဖြစ်သော Rolls-Royce တို့သည် အင်ဂျင် ထိန်းသိမ်းပြုပြင်ခြင်း၊ ပြင်ဆင်ခြင်းနှင့် အလုံးစုံစစ်ဆေးပြုပြင်ခြင်း (MRO) တို့အား အကျိုးတူလုပ်ငန်းသစ်အဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ပေကျင်းမြို့တွင် ပြုလုပ်သော ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ် တရုတ် နိုင်ငံတကာ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုလုပ်ငန်းကုန်စည်ပြပွဲ၌ ကြေညာခဲ့သည်။အဆိုပါ အကျိုးတူလုပ်ငန်းအသစ်ဖြစ်သော Beijing Aero Engine Services Company Limited (BAESL) အား Rolls-Royce Trent 700, Trent XWB-84 နှင့် Trent 1000 လေယာဉ်အင်ဂျင်များအတွက် MRO ပံ့ပိုးမှု ဆောင်ရွက်မည်ဖြစ်သည်။ လက်ရှိတွင် Air China သည် ၎င်းတို့၏ လေယာဉ်များ၌ ထိုအင်ဂျင်အမျိုးအစား ၃ ခုလုံးကို အသုံးပြုလျက်ရှိသည်။

Air China နှင့် Rolls-Royce တို့သည် ယွမ် ၂.၆၁ ဘီလီယံခန့် (အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၃၇၈.၂ သန်းခန့်) ပမာဏရှိသော သဘောတူစာချုပ်ချုပ်ဆိုထားသည့် အကျိုးတူလုပ်ငန်း၌ ရှယ်ယာ ၅၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းစီ ပိုင်ဆိုင်ထားခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။

BAESL အနေဖြင့် အပြည့်အဝ လုပ်ငန်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုအား ၂၀၃၀ ပြည့်လွန်နှစ်လယ်ပိုင်း၌ ပြီးမြောက်မည်ဟု ခန့်မှန်းထားကာ MRO ဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကို Air China နှင့် အခြား လေကြောင်းလိုင်းဝယ်ယူအသုံးပြုသူများအား ပေးအပ်နိုင်မည်ဟု ဆိုသည်။

လက်ရှိတွင် Rolls-Royce သည် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၏ ကိုယ်ထည်ကျယ်ဝန်းသော လေယာဉ်အုပ်စု၏ ၆၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းအား အင်ဂျင်စွမ်းအင် ပံ့ပိုးပေးထားပြီး လည်ပတ်နေသော သို့မဟုတ် မှာယူထားသော လေယာဉ် အစင်းရေပေါင်း ၅၅၀ ကျော်ကိုလည်း အင်ဂျင်စွမ်းအင် ပံ့ပိုးပေးထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

Air China, Rolls-Royce announce joint venture in Beijing
BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — Air China and the British engineering giant Rolls-Royce announced they are entering into a new joint venture of engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) in Beijing at the ongoing 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services.
The new joint venture, Beijing Aero Engine Services Company Limited (BAESL), will provide MRO support on the Rolls-Royce Trent 700, Trent XWB-84, and Trent 1000 aero engines. Air China currently has all three engine types in its fleet.
Air China and Rolls-Royce each hold 50 percent of the shares in the joint venture with the contract amount of about 2.61 billion yuan (about 378.2 million U.S. dollars).
Today, Rolls-Royce powers 60 percent of China’s widebody fleet, powering more than 550 aircraft in service or on order. ■
