ထို့ကြောင့် ချိန်တူးမြို့သည် နှစ်နှစ်လျှင်တစ်ကြိမ်ကျင်းပလေ့ရှိသော နွေရာသီတက္ကသိုလ်အားကစားပွဲကို လက်ခံကျင်းပမည့် တရုတ်ပြည်မကြီးရှိ တတိယမြောက်မြို့ဖြစ်လာမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ အဆိုပါ အားကစားပွဲကို ပေကျင်းမြို့တွင် ၂၀၀၁ ခုနှစ်ကလည်းကောင်း၊ ဆန်းကျန့်မြို့တွင် ၂၀၁၁ ခုနှစ်ကလည်း ကျင်းပခဲ့သည်။
ဇူလိုင် ၂၈ ရက်မှ ဩဂုတ် ၈ ရက်အထိ ကျင်းပမည့် တက္ကသိုလ်အားကစားပွဲတော်တွင် အားကစားနည်း ၁၈ မျိုးဖြင့် ပြိုင်ပွဲပေါင်း ၂၆၉ ပွဲ ပါဝင်မည်ဖြစ်သည်။ လှေလှော်၊ သေနတ်ပစ်နှင့် ဝူရှူး စသည့် ရွေးချယ်ခွင့်ရှိသော အားကစားနည်း သုံးမျိုးအပါအဝင် မဖြစ်မနေယှဉ်ပြိုင်ရမည့် အားကစားနည်း ၁၅ မျိုး ဖြည့်စွက်ထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ချိန်တူး တက္ကသိုလ်အားကစားဆိုင်ရာ တရုတ်ကိုယ်စားပြုအဖွဲ့တွင် နိုင်ငံတစ်ဝန်းရှိ တက္ကသိုလ်ကျောင်း ၁၀၀ မှ ကစားနည်းအားလုံး၌ ဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်မည့် အားကစားသမား ၄၁၁ ဦး အပါအဝင် အဖွဲ့ဝင်ပေါင်း ၇၀၀ ဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသည်။
ကပ်ရောဂါသက်ရောက်မှု လျော့နည်းစေရန်နှင့် ပါဝင်ကြသော ကျောင်းသား/ကျောင်းသူများအတွက် အာမခံချက်ရှိစေရန် ပါဝင်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်မည့် အားကစားသမားများ၏ အသက်အရွယ်ကို အများဆုံး ၂၅ နှစ်မှ ၂၇ နှစ်အထိ သတ်မှတ်ထားသည်။

FISU World University Games to open in Chengdu
CHENGDU, July 27 (Xinhua) — The 31st FISU World University Games, which was postponed twice due to COVID-19 concerns, is set to open on Friday in Chengdu, capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
Chengdu will become the third city in the Chinese mainland to host the biennial Summer Universiade, following Beijing in 2001 and Shenzhen in 2011.
The Universiade, which runs from July 28 to August 8, will feature 269 events across 18 sports. In addition to 15 mandatory sports, it also includes three optional sports — rowing, shooting, and Wushu.
China’s delegation for the Chengdu Universiade comprises over 700 members, including 411 athletes from over 100 universities across the country who will compete in all the sports.
In order to minimize the impact of the pandemic and guarantee participation of students, FISU raised the maximum age of participants from 25 to 27.
The opening ceremony will take place in the Dong’an Lake Sports Park on Friday evening.
