တောင်ကိုရီးယားက ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ် ကိုရီးယားနှစ်နိုင်ငံ ထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေးအပြီး ရရှိခဲ့သည့် မြောက်ကိုရီးယားနှင့် စစ်ရေးသဘောတူညီချက် တစ်စိတ်တစ်ဒေသအား ဆိုင်းငံ့ထားရန် နိုဝင်ဘာ ၂၂ ရက်တွင် ဆုံးဖြတ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ကိုရီးယားနှစ်နိုင်ငံအကြား စစ်ရေးသဘောတူညီချက်တစ်စိတ်တစ်ဒေသဆိုင်းငံ့ခြင်းအား တောင်ကိုရီးယား ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် Han Duck-soo က ဆိုးလ်မြို့၌ ကြီးမှူးကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် အစိုးရအဖွဲ့အထူးအစည်းအဝေးတွင် အတည်ပြုခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

S. Korea decides to partially suspend 2018 military agreement with DPRK
South Korea decided Wednesday to partially suspend the military agreement with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) that was reached after the 2018 inter-Korean summit.
The partially suspended inter-Korean military pact was approved during an extraordinary cabinet meeting presided over by South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo in Seoul.
With the suspended effectiveness, South Korea will restore reconnaissance and surveillance operations against the DPRK around the Military Demarcation Line dividing the two Koreas, said Han, adding that such a measure is vital for national security.
