Baghdad’s century-old bookstores survive wars, sanctions
On al-Mutanabi Street in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, there are some century-old bookstores that have survived wars and sanctions.
However, during the years of conflicts and hardships many of them have to sell their books at low prices.
