သီရိလင်္ကာနိုင်ငံ၌ မေ ၂၇ ရက်တွင် COVID-19 ထပ်မံကူးစက်ခံရသူ ၁,၇၈၂ ဦးရှိပြီး စုစုပေါင်းကူးစက်ခံရသူ ၁၇၄,၀၅၉ ဦး အထိ ရောက်ရှိလာခဲ့ကြောင်း ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ တရားဝင်စာရင်းဇယားများအရ သိရသည်။

ရောဂါကူးစက်ခံရသူများအနက် လူဦးရေ ၁၄၃,၇၈၉ ဦးမှာ ဆေးရုံမှဆင်းခွင့် ရရှိခဲ့ပြီး လက်ရှိဆေးရုံ၌ တက်ရောက်ကုသနေသူဦးရေ ၂၈,၄၈၈ ဦးသာကျန်ရှိကြောင်း သိရသည်။ သီရိလင်္ကာနိုင်ငံ၌ ဗိုင်းရပ်စ်ကြောင့် သေဆုံးသူ စုစုပေါင်း ၁,၂၉၈ ဦးရှိပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

ဗီဇပြောင်း COVID-19 ဗိုင်းရပ်စ်အသစ်မှာ ခရိုင်များအားလုံးတွင် လျင်မြန်စွာပျံ့နှံ့နေကြောင်း ကျန်းမာရေးပညာရှင်များက သတိပေးခဲ့ပြီး သီရိလင်္ကာနိုင်ငံ၌ တကျော့ပြန် COVID-19 အားရင်ဆိုင်နေရကြောင်း သိရသည်။

လူနာများ တိုးပွားလာကာ ဆေးရုံများနှင့် အထူးကြပ်မတ်ကုသဆောင်များတွင် ပြည့်နှက်လျက်ရှိသဖြင့် ရောဂါထပ်မံကူးစက်ပျံ့နှံ့ခြင်းအား ကာကွယ်ရန် လက်ရှိတွင် တစ်နိုင်ငံလုံး၌ ခရီးသွားလာခွင့်အား တင်းကျပ်စွာကန့်သတ်ထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 infections top 174,000
COLOMBO, May 27 (Xinhua) — The total number of people infected with COVID-19 in Sri Lanka reached 174,059 Thursday with 1,782 new cases reported, official statistics from the Health Ministry showed.
Out of the total number infected, 143,789 people had been discharged, bringing down the active patient count to 28,488. Altogether 1,298 deaths have been reported from the virus in the country.
Sri Lanka has been facing a resurgence in COVID-19 as health experts have warned that a new variant of the coronavirus has been fast spreading all the districts.
The country is presently under a strict nationwide travel restriction to prevent a further spread as hospitals and intensive care units remain filled with capacity due to the rising number of patients. Enditem
