အင်ဒိုနီးရှားနိုင်ငံ အစိုးရသည် COVID-19 ဖြစ်ပွားမှု မြင့်တက်နေစဥ်အတွင်း ယခုနှစ်ကုန်ပိုင်းတွင် ကျရောက်မည့် ခရစ္စမတ်အားလပ်ရက်ကို လျှော့ချသတ်မှတ်ခဲ့ပြီးနှင့် အခြားအားလပ်ရက် ၂ ရက်အား ရွှေ့ပြောင်းသတ်မှတ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း အဆင့်မြင့်ဝန်ကြီးတစ်ဦးက ဇွန် ၁၈ ရက်တွင်ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

လူသားဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဆိုင်ရာ ညှိနှိုင်းရေးဝန်ကြီး Muhadjir Effendy က ယခင်နှစ်များတွင် နှစ်ရက်ရှိခဲ့သော ခရစ္စမတ်အားလပ်ရက်အား ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၂၅ ရက် တစ်ရက်တည်းအဖြစ်သို့ လျှော့ချသတ်မှတ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

အင်ဒိုနီးရှားနိုင်ငံ၌ ဇွန် ၁၈ ရက်တွင် ပြီးခဲ့သည့် ၂၄ နာရီအတွင်း COVID-19 အတည်ပြုလူနာသစ် ၁၂,၉၉၀ ဦးရှိပြီး ဇန်နဝါရီလနှောင်းပိုင်းမှစ၍ နေ့စဉ်ပိုးတွေ့ရှိမှု အမြင့်ဆုံးအဖြစ်မှတ်တမ်းဝင်ခဲ့ကာ အတည်ပြုလူနာစုစုပေါင်း ၁,၉၆၃,၂၆၆ ဦးရှိလာခဲ့ကြောင်း ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်အရ သိရသည်။

Indonesia shortens Christmas holiday amid COVID-19
JAKARTA, June 18 (Xinhua) — The Indonesian government has shortened the Christmas holiday to come at the end of this year and shifted dates of two other holidays this year amid a surge in COVID-19 cases, a senior minister said Friday.
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Muhadjir Effendy said the Christmas holiday which lasted two days in previous years was cut to just one day, namely only Dec. 25.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian government has moved the holiday of Islamic New Year from Aug. 10 to 11, and that of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday from Oct. 19 to 20, for the Southeast Asian country.
Indonesia on Friday recorded 12,990 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, marking the highest daily spike since late January and bringing the total tally to 1,963,266, the Health Ministry said.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 related death toll added by 290 to 54,043. Enditem
