အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ အောက်လွှတ်တော် ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ Lok Sabha Om Birla တွင် COVID-19 ရောဂါပိုး စစ်ဆေးတွေ့ရှိကြောင်း ဒေလီအခြေစိုက် အိန္ဒိယဆေးဘက်ဆိုင်ရာသိပ္ပံဌာန(AIIMS)မှ တာဝန်ရှိသူတစ်ဦးက မတ် ၂၁ ရက်တွင် အတည်ပြုပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

“အောက်လွတ်တော် ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ Om Birla ဆီမှာ COVID-19 ရောဂါပိုး ရှိတာကို မတ် ၁၉ ရက်မှာ စစ်ဆေးတွေ့ရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။သူ့ကို မတ် ၂၀ ရက်မှာ AIIMS COVID စင်တာဆီ ပို့ဆောင်ပေးထားပါတယ်။ သူရဲ့ အခြေအနေက ကောင်းမွန်ပြီးတော့ ပုံမှန်အတိုင်းပဲ ရှိနေပါတယ်။”ဟု သတင်းနှင့် မှတ်တမ်းဌာနခွဲမှ အကြီးအကဲဖြစ်သူ Arti Vij က မတ် ၂၁ ရက်တွင် ထုတ်ပြန်သော ကြေညာချက်၌ ထည့်သွင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

အဆိုပါ ထုတ်ပြန်သော အချက်အလက်များအရ မတ် ၂၀ ရက် နံနက်ပိုင်းအချိန်ထိ COVID-19 လူနာ ၁၉၇ ဦး သေဆုံးခဲ့ပြီး သေဆုံးသူအရေအတွက်မှာ ၁၅၉,၇၅၅ ဦးထိ ရှိလာခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
မတ် ၂၀ ရက် နှင့် မတ် ၂၁ နံနက်ပိုင်း အကြား လူနာသစ် နှင့် သေဆုံးသူ အရေအတွက် နှစ်ခုလုံးမှာ ယခုနှစ်တွင် အများဆုံး ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

Indian Parliament’s Speaker tests positive for COVID-19

NEW DELHI, March 21 (Xinhua) — Speaker of Indian Parliament’s lower house Lok Sabha Om Birla tested positive for COVID-19, an official from Delhi-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) confirmed on Sunday.

“Om Birla, the Speaker of Lok Sabha, tested positive for COVID on March 19. He was admitted at AIIMS COVID Centre for observation on March 20. He is stable and all his parameters are normal,” said an official statement by the head of Media and Protocol Division Arti Vij on Sunday.
The incidence of the pandemic has been rising over the past one week.

The country’s COVID-19 tally rose to 11,599,130 on Sunday even as 43,846 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours, said the latest data from the federal health ministry.

According to the official data, the death toll mounted to 159,755 as 197 COVID-19 patients died since Saturday morning.
Both the number of new cases and deaths registered between Saturday and Sunday mornings were the maximum so far this year.
Earlier this week Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed concern at the sudden rise in COVID-19 cases, and called for immediate steps to curb a possible second wave of the pandemic in the country. Enditem
