၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် ဇန်နဝါရီလမှ ဧပြီလအထိ ရန်ကုန်-မန္တလေးအမြန်လမ်းမကြီးပေါ်တွင် အရှိန်လွန်မောင်းနှင်သည့် ယာဉ်မောင်း ၄,၈၀၆ ဦးကို ဥပဒေအရအရေးယူခဲ့ပြီး၊ ထိုင်ခုံခါးပတ်မပတ်ဘဲ မောင်းနှင်သည့် ယာဉ်မောင်း ၃၃၁ ဦးအား ဒဏ်ငွေဖြင့်အရေးယူခဲ့ကြောင်း သတင်းတွင် ဖော်ပြထားချက်အရ သိရသည်။

32 killed, 63 injured in accidents on Myanmar’s Yangon-Mandalay highway over 4 months

YANGON, May 6 (Xinhua) — A total of 32 people were killed and 63 others injured in 52 traffic accidents on Myanmar’s Yangon-Mandalay highway during the first four months of 2026, the state-owned daily The Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Wednesday.
A total of 20 deaths and 159 injuries were recorded on the highway during the same period last year, official data showed.
From January to April this year, 4,806 drivers were penalized for exceeding the speed limit, while 331 were fined for failing to wear seat belts on the highway, the report said.
The 587-km Yangon-Mandalay expressway connects the country’s commercial city of Yangon and the second-largest city of Mandalay. Enditem
