ဆွီဒင်နိုင်ငံ မယ်လ်မိုမြို့တွင် ဩဂုတ် ၂၄ ရက်၌ ကျင်းပပြီးစီးခဲ့သော ကမ္ဘာ့စားပွဲတင်တင်းနစ် (WTT) Europe Smash ပြိုင်ပွဲတွင် အမျိုးသမီး တစ်ဦးချင်း ချန်ပီယံဆုကို တရုတ်နိုင်ငံမှ စွန်းရင်ဆား က ဆွတ်ခူးသွားခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အမျိုးသမီး တစ်ဦးချင်း ဖိုင်နယ်ပွဲတွင် ကမ္ဘာ့ နံပါတ် ၁ စွန်းက တစ်ပြည်တည်းသားဖြစ်သော ကမ္ဘာ့နံပါတ် ၂ ဝမ်မန့်ယွိ ကို ၄-၂ ရမှတ်ဖြင့် အနိုင်ယူခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ စွန်း က အဖွင့်ကစားပွဲနှစ်ပွဲ၌ အနိုင်ရရှိခဲ့ပြီး ဝမ် က နောက်နှစ်ပွဲတွင် အနိုင်ရရှိကာ သရေကျခဲ့သော်လည်း စွန်း က ပွဲအားပြန်လည်ထိန်းချုပ်နိုင်ခဲ့ပြီး အနိုင်ရရှိခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။
အမျိုးသား တစ်ဦးချင်း ဖိုင်နယ်ပွဲတွင် ကမ္ဘာ့နံပါတ် ၁ လျင်ရှီးတုန်း က ဆွီဒင်နိုင်ငံမှ ပြည်တွင်းအကျော်အမော် Truls Moregard အား ပွတ်ကာသီကာသာ အနိုင်အရှုံးရှိသော ကစားပွဲခုနစ်ပွဲဖြင့် ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ ရမှတ် ၃-၃ ဖြင့် သရေကျခဲ့ပြီးနောက် Moregard က ၄-၃ ဖြင့် အနိုင်ရခဲ့သည်။
ဥရောပတွင် ပထမဆုံး Grand Smash ပွဲဖြစ်သည့် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် WTT Europe Smash ပြိုင်ပွဲမှာ မယ်လ်မိုမြို့တွင် သြဂုတ် ၁၄ ရက်မှ ၂၄ ရက်အထိ အမျိုးသား၊ အမျိုးသမီး တစ်ဦးချင်းပြိုင်ပွဲများ၊ ကျား၊မ နှစ်ယောက်တွဲပြိုင်ပွဲများနှင့် ကျား၊ မ မရွေး နှစ်ယောက်တွဲပြိုင်ပွဲများဖြင့် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

Sun Yingsha wins women’s singles title at WTT Europe Smash
HELSINKI, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) — Sun Yingsha won the women’s singles title as the World Table Tennis (WTT) Europe Smash concluded in Malmo, Sweden on Sunday.
In the women’s singles final, world No. 1 Sun defeated compatriot and world No. 2 Wang Manyu 4-2. Sun claimed the opening two games, Wang leveled by taking the next two, but Sun regained control to close out the match.
In the men’s singles final, world No. 1 Lin Shidong battled local favorite Truls Moregard of Sweden through seven tight games. With the score tied at 3-3, Moregard held firm to win 4-3.
The 2025 WTT Europe Smash, the first Grand Smash event staged in Europe, ran from Aug. 14-24 in Malmo with competitions in men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. ■
