နီပေါနိုင်ငံ၏တရားသူကြီးချုပ်ဟောင်း စူရှီလာကာကီသည် ကေပီရှာမားအိုလီ၏ စက်တင်ဘာ ၉ ရက် နုတ်ထွက်မှုအပြီး ကြားဖြတ်အစိုးရဝန်ကြီးချုပ်အဖြစ် စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၂ ရက် ညနေပိုင်းတွင် စတင်တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အဆိုပါရာထူးကို ကာကီအား သမ္မတ ရန်ချန်ဒရာက ခန့်အပ်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး သမ္မတ၊ နိုင်ငံခြားသံတမန်များနှင့် အခြားသူများ၏ရှေ့မှောက်တွင် ကြားဖြတ်အစိုးရဝန်ကြီးချုပ်အဖြစ် ကျမ်းသစ္စာကျိန်ဆိုခဲ့သည်။
ကာကီနှင့် ၎င်း၏ ကြားဖြတ်အစိုးရသည် ဝန်ကြီးဌာနများအားလုံးကို ကိုင်တွယ်ရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲကို ခြောက်လအတွင်း ကျင်းပပေးရမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း အခမ်းအနားတွင် ဖတ်ကြားသည့် တာဝန်ခန့်အပ်လွှာအရ သိရသည်။
ထို့ပြင် အောက်လွှတ်တော်ကို စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၂ ရက် ဒေသစံတော်ချိန် ည ၁၁း၀၀ နာရီမှစ၍ ဖျက်သိမ်းလိုက်ကြောင်းနှင့် အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲကို ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် မတ်လ ၅ ရက်တွင် ကျင်းပရန် စီစဥ်ထားကြောင်း သမ္မတနေအိမ်မှ နောက်ပိုင်းထုတ်ပြန်ချက်တစ်စောင်တွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
အဓိကနိုင်ငံရေးပါတီများနှင့် အခြားအုပ်စုများက ခတ္တမန္ဒူနှင့် နိုင်ငံ၏အခြားဒေသများတွင် စက်တင်ဘာ ၈ ရက် နှင့် ၉ ရက်က ဆန္ဒပြပွဲများဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့ပြီး စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၂ ရက်တွင်မူ ကာကီကို ရာထူးခန့်အပ်ခြင်းဖြင့် သဘောတူညီချက် ရရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အသက် ၇၃ နှစ်ရှိပြီ ဖြစ်သည့် ကာကီသည် နီပေါနိုင်ငံ တရားရုံးချုပ်၏ ပထမဆုံးနှင့် တစ်ဦးတည်းသောအမျိုးသမီး တရားသူကြီးချုပ်အဖြစ် တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့သူဖြစ်သည်။ (Xinhua)

Former chief justice Sushila Karki takes office to head Nepal’s interim gov’t
KATHMANDU, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) — Nepal’s former chief justice Sushila Karki took office as the prime minister of the interim government on Friday evening following KP Sharma Oli’s resignation on Tuesday.
Karki was appointed to the post by President Ram Chandra Poudel and then she was sworn in by the president in the presence of foreign envoys and others.
Karki is keeping all the ministries with herself and her interim government is in charge of holding a general election within six months, according to the appointment letter read on the occasion.
A statement from the residence of the president later said the House of Representatives shall be dissolved from 11 p.m. local time on Friday night and a general election is scheduled for March 5, 2026.
The major political parties and the groups which launched protests on Sept. 8 and Sept. 9 in Kathmandu and other parts of the country reached a deal on Friday, resulting on the appointment of Karki.
Aged 73, Karki is the first and only woman in Nepal to have served as the chief justice of the Supreme Court.
