တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ အနောက်မြောက်ပိုင်း ရှင်းကျန်း(ဝေဂါ)ကိုယ်ပိုင်အုပ်ချုပ်ခွင့်ရဒေသရှိ အဓိကရထားဆိပ်ကမ်းတစ်ခုဖြစ်သော Alataw Pass သည် ယခုနှစ် ပထမသုံးလပတ်အတွင်း တရုတ်-ဥရောပ ကုန်တင်ရထားခရီးစဉ် ၁,၅၈၈ ခုအား ကိုင်တွယ်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး ယမန်နှစ်ကထက် ၁၀.၃၅ ရာခိုင်နှုန်း မြင့်တက်လာခဲ့ကြောင်း ဒေသန္တရ ရထားတာဝန်ရှိသူများက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ရထားခရီးစဉ်များအတွင်း ကုန်စည်တန်ချိန် ၃.၃၃ သန်းခန့် သယ်ယူပို့ဆောင်ခဲ့ပြီး ယမန်နှစ်ကထက် ၂၃.၈ ရာခိုင်နှုန်း မြင့်တက်ခဲ့ကြောင်း China Railway Urumqi Group ကုမ္ပဏီထံမှ သိရသည်။
တရုတ်-ဥရောပ ကုန်တင်ရထားခရီးစဉ်များ မြင့်တက်ခြင်းသည် အကောက်ခွန်ရှင်းလင်းရေးတွင် ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်သော စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်က တစ်စိတ်တစ်ဒေသအားဖြင့် တွန်းအားပေးနေကြောင်း ကုမ္ပဏီက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

Alataw Pass ရထားဆိပ်ကမ်းသည် ၂၀၁၁ ခုနှစ်မှ ယခုနှစ် မတ်လကုန်ပိုင်းအထိ တရုတ်-ဥရောပ ကုန်တင်ရထားခရီးစဉ် ၃၀,၀၀၀ ကျော် ရှိခဲ့ပြီး ဝိုင် ၊ ချောကလက် နှင့် ဓာတုဓာတ်မြေဩဇာကဲ့သို့သော တင်သွင်းလာသော ပစ္စည်းပမာဏ တိုးလာခြင်းအား ကိုင်တွယ်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

Xinjiang border port reports growing China-Europe freight train trips
Alataw Pass, a major rail port in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, handled 1,588 China-Europe freight train trips in the first quarter this year, marking a 10.35 percent year-on-year jump, local railway authorities said.
About 3.33 million tonnes of cargo were transported during these trips, up 23.8 percent year on year, according to the China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd.

The surge in China-Europe freight train trips is partly driven by greater efficiency in customs clearance, the company said.
The Alataw Pass witnessed more than 30,000 China-Europe freight train trips from 2011 until late March this year. It is handling an increased amount of imported supplies, such as wine, chocolates and chemical fertilizers.
