တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၏ မြို့တော် ပေကျင်းတွင် ပြီးခဲ့သည့်သောကြာနေ့ မွန်းလွဲ ၁ နာရီမှ စနေနေ့ ညနေ ၄ နာရီအထိ မိုးသည်းထန်စွာရွာသွန်းခဲ့ရာ မိုးရေချိန် ၆၁.၃ မီလီမီတာ အထိရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း မြူနီစပယ်မိုးလေဝသဌာနမှ တနင်္ဂနွေနေ့တွင်သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။

မြူနီစပယ်ရေကြောင်း ဆိုင်ရာ ဗြူရိုမှ ‌ရေကြီးနိုင်ခြေ  အဆင့် ၄ အရေးပေါ်အခြေအနေအဖြစ်ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။သတိပေးချက်ကြောင့် လူပေါင်း ၈,၀၀၀ ကို ဘေးလွတ်ရာ ရွှေ့ပြောင်းပေးခဲ့ပြီး  အရေးပေါ်စောင့်ကြည့်လေ့လာသတင်းပို့ရေးအဖွဲ့ ၃ ဖွဲ့အားဖွဲ့စည်းကာ ရေလွှမ်းမိုးမှုထိန်းချုပ်ရေးအတွက် ပြင်ဆင်မှုများကိုလုပ်ဆောင်ရန်ဆောင်ရွက်ထားရှိသည်။

GLOBALink | Metro station flooded in western Beijing as rainstorms hit

Heavy rainstorms have lashed the Chinese capital Beijing.The city’s average precipitation reached 61.3 mm from 1 p.m. Friday to 4 p.m. Sunday, the municipal meteorological department said.

The municipal water affairs bureau activated a level IV emergency response for floods on Sunday morning, the lowest of the four-tier emergency response system. It has mobilized 8,000 people and three emergency monitoring and reporting teams to make preparations for flood control.

The Beijing Drainage Group Co., Ltd., the city’s drainage system operator, has also strengthened its flood control response, with thousands of flood control staff on stand-by.
