French Navy’s Chevalier Paul destroyer docks at Grand Harbor in Valletta
The French Navy’s Horizon-class Chevalier Paul destroyer (D621) docked at the Grand Harbor in Valletta, Malta, on Thursday.
The destroyer commenced its arrival with a ceremonial 21-gun salute. In a reciprocal gesture, members of the Armed Forces of Malta reciprocated the warm welcome by offering their own 21-gun salute.
A large crowd of tourists watched the welcome ceremony.
