အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ အနောက်ပိုင်း မဟာရက်ရှ်ထရာပြည်နယ်၌ တောင်ထိပ်တစ်ခုပေါ်တွင်ရှိသည့် ကျေးရွာတစ်ရွာတွင် ဖြစ်ပေါ်ခဲ့သော မြေပြိုမှုအတွင်း ဇူလိုင် ၂၁ ရက်တွင် အပျက်အစီးများအောက်မှ ရုပ်အလောင်း ၆ ခုအား တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ပြီးနောက် သေဆုံးသူအရေအတွက် ၂၂ ဦးအထိ မြင့်တက်လာခဲ့ကြောင်း ဒေသဆိုင်ရာရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့ တာဝန်ရှိသူတစ်ဦးက အတည်ပြုခဲ့သည်။

“ရှာဖွေကယ်ဆယ်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းတွေကို သောကြာနေ့(ဇူလိုင် ၂၁ ရက်)ဒေသစံတော်ချိန် ၁၈:၃၀ မှာ ရပ်နားခဲ့ပြီးတော့ စနေနေ့(ဇူလိုင် ၂၂ ရက်)မှာ ပြန်လုပ်ဆောင်သွားမှာပါ။ဒီနေ့(ဇူလိုင် ၂၁ ရက်)မှာ ရုပ်အလောင်း ၆ ခုကို တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ မြေပြင်အခြေအနေက ခက်ခဲတဲ့အတွက် ရှာဖွေရေးလုပ်ငန်းတွေကို ကိုယ်ထိလက်ရောက် ဒါမှမဟုတ် ခွေးတွေ အကူအညီနဲ့ လုပ်နေရပါတယ်”ဟု ၎င်းက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ (Xinhua)

Death toll from western India’s landslide rises to 22
The death toll rose to 22 in the landslide that struck a village on a hilltop in India’s western state of Maharashtra, after six more bodies were retrieved from under the debris on Friday, a local police official confirmed.
“The search and rescue operation was stopped on Friday at 18:30 local time and will resume tomorrow morning. Only six dead bodies could be retrieved today. It’s a difficult terrain, hence the search operation is being carried out physically with hands or with the help of canines,” he said.
