အဆိုပါ စေတနာ့ဝန်ထမ်းအဖွဲသို့ ပျမ်းမျှအသက်အရွယ် ၁၉ နှစ်ခန့်ရှိသော ငယ်ရွယ်သူ ၁၇ ဦး ပါဝင်လာခဲ့သည်။
ရာသီဥတုခန့်မှန်းချက်အရ ဇန်နဝါရီ ၆ ရက်က တာ့လျန်မြို့တွင် ဆီးနှင်းကျဆင်းမှုပမာဏသည် နံနက် ၇ နာရီမှ မွန်းလွဲ ၃ နာရီအထိ ၈.၁ မီလီမီတာအထိ ရှိကြောင်း သိရသည်။

ထို့ကြောင့် လမ်းမမှာ ရေခဲဖုံးလွှမ်းနေကာ လမ်းချော်နေပြီး ယာဉ်မောင်းနှင်၍မရနိုင်သဖြင့် စေတနာ့ဝန်ထမ်းများက ဆီးနှင်းများနှင့် အေးစက်သောလေတိုက်ခတ်မှုကို မမှုဘဲ ၎င်းတို့ကိုယ်တိုင် သုံးဘီးဆိုင်ကယ်ကို တွန်းသွားကြရန် ဆုံးဖြတ်ခဲ့ကြသည်။

The men in the blizzard: Anti-epidemic volunteers brave bone-chilling cold to support those in need

BEIJING, Jan.8 (Xinhua) – Pictures of a group of people wearing protective suits crawled and stumbled to push a tricycle loaded with food and other necessaries on an icy road have recently hit the Internet, warming up countless hearts as the nation is experiencing a new round of cold wave.
These people are anti-epidemic volunteers sending daily supplies and anti-epidemic materials to students at dormitories at Dalian Ocean University in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, Jan 6, 2021.
According to the school, the university campus imposed closed-off management measures on Dec 21, 2020, due to the latest round of COVID-19 outbreak. With more than 13,000 teachers and students living on campus, the university has organized volunteers to send three meals, daily necessities and anti-epidemic supplies to the dormitories.
A total of 17 young people, with an average age of 19, have joined the volunteer team.
According to the weather forecast, the snowfall in Dalian amounted to 8.1mm from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 6.
Because the road was so icy and sliding that vehicle cannot be driven, volunteers decided to push tricycle by themselves regardless of blowing snows and cold air.
In the past 12 days, they have dispatched more than ten tonnes of materials and delivered 12,219 meals for 5,109 teachers and students.
These pictures have received warm words on the Internet, and netizens praised them “the most attractive countermatch people”, saying “they are deeply touched by their bravery regardless of the heavy wind and cold weather “.
Pictures were taken by a student named Ji Yangbai and a teacher called Wang Haipeng from the School of Navigation and Naval Architecture in the flat of Dalian Ocean University. ■
