အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံတွင် အသက် ၁၈ နှစ်နှင့် အထက်ရှိသူများအားလုံးအနေဖြင့် မေ ၁ ရက်မှစတင်ကာ COVID-19 ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံခွင့် ရရှိမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဖက်ဒရယ်အစိုးရက ဧပြီ ၁၉ ရက်၌ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ယင်းသို့ ဆောင်ရွက်ချက်သည် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ၏ COVID-19 ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံခြင်း၏ အဆင့်-၃ ဖြစ်သည်။ အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံတွင် ကာကွယ်ဆေးထိုးနှံခြင်း အဆင့်-၁ ကို ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁၆ ရက်တွင် စတင်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှုဝန်ထမ်းများ (HCWs) နှင့် ရှေ့တန်းမှ ဝန်ထမ်းများ (FLWs) ကို ဦးစားပေးထိုးနှံပေးခဲ့ပြီး အဆင့်-၂ တွင်မူ မတ် ၁ ရက်တွင် စတင်ခဲ့ကာ အသက် ၄၅ နှစ်နှင့်အထက်ရှိသူများကို ဆေးထိုးနှံပေးခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။

အဆိုပါ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်အား ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် နာရန်ဒြာမိုဒီ သဘာပတိအဖြစ် ကျင်းပခဲ့သော အစည်းအဝေး၌ ချမှတ်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ဖက်ဒရယ်အစိုးရအနေဖြင့် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံသား မြောက်များစွာ အချိန်တိုတိုနှင့် ကာကွယ်ဆေးရရှိနိုင်ရန် အပြင်းအထန်ကြိုးစားလျက်ရှိကြောင်း မိုဒီက ပြောခဲ့သည်။

All Indian adults to be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination from May 1

NEW DELHI, April 19 (Xinhua) — All persons aged 18 years and above will be eligible to get COVID-19 vaccination with effect from May 1, India’s federal government said on Monday.
This would be the phase 3 of India’s COVID-19 vaccination drive. Phase-I was launched on Jan. 16 prioritizing Health Care Workers (HCWs) and Front-Line Workers (FLWs), while Phase-II was initiated from March 1 focusing on all people above 45 years of age.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi said that the federal government had been working hard to ensure that maximum numbers of Indians are able to get the vaccine in the shortest possible of time.
With an increase of 273,810 new cases on Monday, India’s COVID-19 tally has reached 15,061,919, according to data from the health ministry. Enditem
