ကွင်းဆင်းအဖွဲ့များမှ စုဆောင်းရရှိခဲ့သော အချက်အလက်များကို ပြန်လည်ဖော်ထုတ်ပြီး ပေါင်းစပ်ကွပ်ကဲရေးတာဝန်ကျစခန်းမှ အတည်ပြုပြီးနောက် နောက်ဆုံးအခြေအနေနှင့်အညီ မွမ်းမံထားသည့် ကိန်းဂဏန်းများ ထွက်ပေါ်လာခဲ့ပြီး အွန်လိုင်းကြေညာချက်တွင် ထွက်ပေါ်ခဲ့သော ယခင်ကိန်းဂဏန်းအချက်အလက်များကို ပြင်ဆင်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း BNPB ၏ သဘာဝဘေးအန္တရာယ်ဒေတာ၊ သတင်းအချက်အလက်နှင့် ဆက်သွယ်ရေးဌာန အကြီးအကဲ အဗ္ဗဒူလ် မူဟာရီက သတင်းစာရှင်းလင်းပွဲ၌ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ထောက်ပံ့ပို့ဆောင်ရေးအကူအညီပေးပို့မှုများ အများအပြား ရောက်ရှိလာသော်လည်း မလုံလောက်သေးဘဲ လောင်စာဆီပြတ်လပ်မှုနှင့် သယ်ယူပို့ဆောင်ရေး အကန့်အသတ်ရှိမှုများက အဆိုပါသဘာဝဘေးသင့်သူများအား ဘေးလွတ်ရာသို့ ရွှေ့ပြောင်းရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များကို ဆက်လက်အဟန့်အတားဖြစ်စေကြောင်း မူဟာရီက မှတ်ချက်ပြုခဲ့သည်။

Indonesia revises Sumatra disaster toll to 770 dead, 463 missing
JAKARTA, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) — Indonesia’s National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) on Wednesday revised its casualty figures for the floods and landslides in Sumatra, confirming that 770 people have died and 463 remain missing across the three worst-affected provinces.
The updated numbers came after data collected by field teams were re-identified and validated by the integrated command post, correcting earlier figures that appeared on the online dashboard, Abdul Muhari, head of BNPB’s Center for Disaster Data, Information, and Communication, told a press conference.
Muhari noted that several shipments of logistical aid have arrived but remain insufficient, while fuel shortages and limited transportation access continue to hamper evacuation efforts.
He added that weather modification efforts are ongoing to limit extreme rainfall and accelerate evacuation and aid distribution. ■
