ဘရူနိုင်းနိုင်ငံသည် ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်အတွင်း ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဆိုင်ရာ ပန်းချီပြခန်းများ၊ စာကြည့်တိုက်များနှင့် သမိုင်းဝင်နေရာများသို့ ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည်ဝင်ရောက်မှုအရေအတွက်မှာ ၈,၆၅၅ ဦးအထိ မြင့်တက်လာခဲ့ပြီး ၂၀၂၃ ခုနှစ်နှင့် နှိုင်းယှဉ်ပါက ၇၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းတိုးတက်လာခဲ့ကြောင်း ဝန်ကြီးက ဆိုသည်။
ခရီးသွားလုပ်ငန်းနှင့် ဆက်နွှယ်သောအချက်အလက်များ စု‌ဆောင်းချိန်မှစတင်၍ ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည်ဦးရေ ၂၇၁,၀၀၀ ဦးအထိ စံချိန်တင်ဝင်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြောင်း ဘရူနိုင်းနိုင်ငံ ယဉ်ကျေးမှု၊ လူငယ်နှင့် အားကစားဝန်ကြီး ဟာဂျီ နက်ဇ်မီ မိုဟာမက်၏ ပြောကြားချက်အားကိုးကား၍ မတ် ၉ ရက်ထုတ် Borneo Bulletin နေ့စဉ်သတင်းစာ၌ ဖော်ပြထားသည်။
ထို့ပြင် ၂၀၂၃ ခုနှစ်နှင့် ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်အတွင်း ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်ကို ထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်ရန်နှင့် တစ်မူထူးခြားသော ဒေသဆိုင်ရာယဉ်ကျေးမှုများကို ပြသရန် အစီအစဉ်ပေါင်း ၁,၅၄၇ ခု ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ရာ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်သူ ၆၇,၉၀၈ ဦးကို ဆွဲဆောင်ထားနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။
အဆိုပါ ပွဲတော်များအနက် တိုင်းရင်းသားမျိုးနွယ်စု ၇ ခု၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုခရီးစဉ်လမ်းကြောင်းများ၊ ရိုးရာသီချင်းဆိုပြိုင်ပွဲများအပြင် ဒေသန္တရဂိမ်းများ၊ အနုပညာနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုလက်ရာများနှင့်ပတ်သက်သော အလုပ်ရုံများ စသည်တို့ကိုလည်း ပြသထားသည်။
ထို့အပြင် ဘရူနိုင်းနိုင်ငံ၏ ကြွယ်ဝသောယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်ကို ထိန်းသိမ်းရန် အမွေအနှစ်လက်ရာများ ၄၂,၂၃၃ ခုကို ဒစ်ဂျစ်တယ်စနစ်ဖြင့် ပြင်ဆင်ထိန်းသိမ်းထားကြောင်း၊ ဘရူနိုင်းမလေးဘာသာစကားဖြင့် အသုံးပြုနိုင်သော အီလက်ထရောနစ် အဘိဓာန်များကလည်း အသုံးပြုသူ ၁၀၀,၀၀၀ ကျော်အား ဆွဲဆောင်ထားနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ (Xinhua)

Brunei cultural tourism visitors increase 70 percent in 2024
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, March 10 (Xinhua) — Brunei has seen an increase in visitors touring cultural galleries, libraries, and historical sites, with 8,655 visitors recorded in 2024, up 70 percent compared to 2023, a minister has said.
Overall, 271,000 visitors have been recorded since relevant data began to be compiled, the local daily Borneo Bulletin reported on Sunday, quoting Haji Nazmi Mohammad, Brunei’s minister of culture, youth, and sports.
The minister also said that to uphold cultural heritage and showcase the uniqueness of the local culture, 1,547 activities were held in 2023 and 2024, attracting 67,908 participants.
Among the festivals were showcases of seven ethnic groups, cultural trails, and competitions portraying traditional songs, as well as workshops on local games, arts and cultural artifacts.
Additionally, 42,233 heritage pieces have been digitized to preserve Brunei’s rich heritage. Electronic dictionaries on the Bruneian Malay language have also attracted over 100,000 users.
