အာရှဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးဘဏ် (ADB) နှင့် ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်အစိုးရတို့သည် ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်နိုင်ငံ၏ ကမ္ဘာ့ဈေးကွက်ယှဥ်ပြိုင်နိုင်စွမ်း မြှင့်တင်ရေးနှင့် သင့်တင့်လျောက်ပတ်သော အလုပ်များ ပိုမိုရရှိနိုင်ကြစေရေးအတွက် ရည်ရွယ်လျက် နည်းပညာ၊ သက်မွေးပညာနှင့် လေ့ကျင့်ရေး (TVET) တိုးတက်ကောင်းမွန်လာစေရန် အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ သန်း ၁၅၀ ချေးငွေ သဘောတူညီချက်ကို သြဂုတ် ၃ ရက်တွင် လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

ချေးငွေသဘောတူစာချုပ်ကို ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ် စီးပွားရေး ဆက်ဆံရေးဌာန အတွင်းဝန် Md Shahriar Kader Siddiky နှင့် ADB ၏ ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်နိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ ဒါရိုက်တာ Hoe Yun Jeong တို့က လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးခဲ့ကြခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။

“ဒီအစီအစဉ်က နိုင်ငံရဲ့ စီးပွားရေးသတ်မှတ်ချက်အမျိုးမျိုးနဲ့ ချိန်ညှိကာ စက်မှု၊ အီလက်ထရွန်းနစ်နဲ့ လျှပ်စစ်၊ သတင်းအချက်အလက်နဲ့ ဆက်သွယ်ရေးနည်းပညာ၊ မြို့ပြ၊ အစားအစာနဲ့ စိုက်ပျိုးရေး ဆိုတဲ့ အဓိက နည်းပညာအစုအဖွဲ့ ၅ ခုကို ပစ်မှတ်ထားပါတယ်” ဟု Jeong က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ADB ၏အဆိုအရ၊ ၎င်းအနာဂတ်အစီအစဉ်ဆိုင်ရာ TVET ဆရာများအတွက် ရလဒ်အခြေပြု အကူအညီသည် ခေတ်မီဆရာအတတ်သင်သင်တန်းများကို အထူးသဖြင့် ဒါကာမြို့အပြင်ဘက်ရှိ သင်တန်းဝန်ဆောင်မှုမရရှိနိုင်ခဲ့သော ဒေသများတွင် တိုးချဲ့ရရှိနိုင်စေခြင်း၊ ထွန်းသစ်စနည်းပညာများတွင် သင်ကြားပို့ချသူများ၏ သင်ကြားနည်းနှင့် နည်းပညာဆိုင်ရာ ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုများ တိုးတက်စေခြင်း၊ ဆရာဆရာမများ တိုးတက်မှု၊ စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုနှင့် အစီရင်ခံခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ စနစ်များ အားကောင်းစေခြင်းတို့ကို ဖြစ်ပေါ်စေမည်ဟု သိရသည်။

အနည်းဆုံး TVET ဆရာဦးရေ (လက်ရှိနှင့်အသစ်) ၁၀,၀၀၀ သည် ၎င်းတို့၏ စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်များကို တိုးမြှင့်ကာ ကျောင်းသားပေါင်း ၂၅၀,၀၀၀ ကျော်ကို အပြုသဘောဖြင့် အကျိုးသက်ရောက်မှု ရှိစေမည်ဟုလည်း သိရသည်။

ADB provides 150 mln USD to improve technical, vocational training in Bangladesh

DHAKA, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) — The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Bangladeshi government Sunday signed a 150 million U.S. dollars loan agreement to improve technical and vocational education and training (TVET), aiming to enhance access to decent employment and boost the country’s global market competitiveness.

Md Shahriar Kader Siddiky, secretary of Bangladesh’s Economic Relations Division, and Hoe Yun Jeong, country director of ADB in Bangladesh, signed the loan agreement.

“Aligned with the country’s economic diversification priorities, the program targets five key technology clusters: mechanical, electronics and electrical, information and communication technology, civil, and food and agriculture,” said Jeong.

According to the ADB, the results-based assistance for the TVET Teachers for the Future Program will expand access to modern teacher training, especially in underserved regions outside Dhaka; improve the pedagogical and technical skills of educators in emerging technologies; and strengthen systems for teacher development, management, and reporting.

It said that at least 10,000 new and existing TVET teachers will enhance their capacities, positively impacting over 250,000 students.

The program will also establish a nationwide system for continuous professional development to ensure the sustained quality and relevance of TVET in Bangladesh, it added. ■
