Cambodia to Pilot Visa-Free Policy for Chinese Citizens Next Year
(Xinhua News Agency, Phnom Penh, December 3) The Cambodian government released an official document on December 2 stating that it will pilot a visa-free policy for Chinese citizens from June 15 to October 15, 2026.
The document states that the Cambodian government has agreed to pilot a visa-free policy for Chinese citizens traveling from China, allowing a stay of up to 14 days. During the four-month trial period, Chinese citizens will not need to apply for a visa or pay any fees; they only need to fill out an electronic arrival card to enter Cambodia, and multiple entries are permitted.
Statistics from the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism show that Cambodia attracted approximately one million Chinese tourists from January to October this year. (End)
